Andrea Anderson-Mason To Be First Guest On Live Call-in Show On CHCO TV

Date: August 4, 2023

Andrea Anderson-Mason, MLA for Fundy-the Isles-Saint John West, recently sat down for an interview at CHCO Television where she reflected on her time in office and expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve her constituents.

During the interview, Anderson-Mason spoke passionately about her love for her job, stating, "I've loved this job, and I still love this job." She also mentioned being inspired by the greats who came before her, specifically Greg Thompson. "My hope is that if they were here today, that they would say that I've done them proud," she added.

Known for her assertive approach, the MLA acknowledged that she can sometimes come across as aggressive but explained that she is driven by her belief that her riding is the greatest place in New Brunswick. "My only hope was ever to serve the constituents of the riding," she said.

Anderson-Mason also unveiled that she is excited to be the first guest on a new live talk show launching on CHCO Television where viewers can call in and ask questions live on TV. "I've always been an open book, so feel free, ask what questions you want and I'll do my best to answer them."

The show, tentatively called By-the-Sea LIVE, will be an hour-long one-on-one talk show hosted by CHCO News Director Vicki Hogarth. On the premiere episode of the show, Anderson-Mason will answer questions from both Hogarth and viewers. She is open to answering questions about the future of her political career. Anderson-Mason has often made headlines for not toeing the party, recently voting against her PC party to vote with the Liberals for a review of controversial changes to Policy 713, a gender and identity policy in New Brunswick schools.

By-the-Sea LIVE will premiere on CHCO Television in August 2023.
