This is outrageous, Charles. Are you banned from the Legislature for life? Even prisoners released from jail have served their time and supposedly have a new lease on life. Many people with common sense don't consider you a threat. Time for the folks in charge at the Legislature to reevaluate your situation.

Charles LeBlanc investigated again for libel against Fredericton police

Blogger arrested by members of Edmundston police recently in downtown Fredericton

Fredericton blogger Charles LeBlanc is once again under investigation for libel against members of the Fredericton Police Force.

The new investigation comes more than four years after New Brunswick's attorney general directed that criminal libel charges against LeBlanc under Section 301 of the Criminal Code be dropped because several other provinces had found that section of the code to be unconstitutional.

Fredericton police spokesperson Alycia Bartlett said a complaint was lodged with the Fredericton force "and because of the situation, and history, we requested an outside agency to investigate."

Bartlett directed any further questions to the Edmundston Police Force. A message left with Edmundston Police Force Deputy Chief Andre Madore Wednesday by CBC News was not returned.

Arrested by Edmundston police

On Nov. 8, two men identifying themselves as members of the Edmundston Police Force placed LeBlanc under arrest in downtown Fredericton near the New Brunswick Legislature and told him he was being investigated for defamatory libel.

LeBlanc indicates on his blog the new investigation falls under Section 300 of the Criminal Code, which states: "Every one who publishes a defamatory libel that he knows is false is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years."

LeBlanc states on his blog he was subsequently released without being charged or given a court date.
LeBlanc posted a video of the arrest on his blog along with an audio file of his interview with police.

"Those comments are still on your blog there, Charles," one of the Edmundston officers tells LeBlanc in the arrest video. "Those videos are still on your blog, where you're calling Fredericton police officers pedophiles."

"This is starting all over again," said LeBlanc on Wednesday.

LeBlanc said he would remove the offending post if someone told him which posts are an issue.
"I don't know which posts they're talking about," he said.

"This could all be settled in a couple of hours."

Contentious history

LeBlanc has a long and contentious history with the Fredericton police that culminated in the City of Fredericton hiring former ombudsman Bernard Richard in 2012 to review the force's handling of the initial criminal libel case against LeBlanc.

In 2009, LeBlanc posted video of Fredericton police officers arresting a man outside a Fredericton nightclub. The incident was violent and a member of the Fredericton police was subsequently charged with assault and was acquitted in court.

In June 2011, a Fredericton police force officer issued LeBlanc a ticket for not wearing a bicycle helmet in downtown Fredericton.
In his 2012 report, Richard noted that bicycling without a helmet "is a fairly common occurrence and a low-level offence."

"Had it been another cyclist, would the same decision have been made?" Richard asks in the report.
LeBlanc ended up posting about the helmet ticket on his blog, referred to the constable who issued the ticket as a "fascist cop."

In a subsequent post on July 26, 2011, LeBlanc posted a photo of the constable and referred to "sexual pervert Quebecois Const."

The constable had initiated a defamatory libel complaint and the investigating police officer concluded the July 26 post did support a charge being laid.

In August 2011, LeBlanc protested outside the Fredericton Police Force station and through a bullhorn stated the force employs "sexual perverts" and that the constable who issued the ticket was a "faggot."

Richard's recommendations

In his final report, Richard said the Fredericton police should have "farmed out" the investigation of LeBlanc.
"There was too much history with the force, too many incidents involving this same officer and Mr. LeBlanc was too often in the public sphere to avoid the perception that the Fredericton Police Force could not be totally impartial in its consideration of the case," stated Richard.

Richard also recommended the Fredericton Police Force provide all its members with enhanced mandatory training on dealing with emotionally disturbed persons, including education on mental disorders, available services and intervention techniques.

Edmundston Police Chief Gilles Lee receives a complaint from the Blogger!!!!

I wish you to launch an investigation against two members of your Police Force. Their names are Andre Madore and Rejean Couturier.

On November 8th, 2016, I was approached, grabbed and assaulted by these two individual in Fredericton.

Andre Madore introduced himself and the Police Chief of the Edmundston Police Force < Which I knew was a lie > because no Police Chief would travel to another City to arrest someone on the street.

A shuffle arose and I could have took a stroke. The situation coud have turned VERY ugly VERY fast!!!!

I asked for a Uniform Police Officer but was denied.

Click below for video -

https://youtu.be/dJ0Ufu4Sktc

Once at the Police Station Andre Madore changed his title to Deputy Chief.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_g7SHv3sNLA&t=315s

I also heard that a lawyer from the members of the Fredericton Police Force ordered my arrest.

I wish to know who gave the orders to assault me on the street???

Rejean Couturier grabbed me VERY hard and hurt my shoulder. This man was over my place 4 years ago. He has a hate for me and I want to know why???

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzLLZ57Sfwg&t=4s

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBHK5jUKTiA&t=9s

I was told today by Andre Madore that he's going to push these false accusations against me.

Could you please tell me how much the Fredericton Police paid these so-called Police Officers on the two years they have work on this case against me???

I want the R.C.M.P. to investigate these two individuals.

Please let me know by the end of the week what your plans are with these two Police Officer's conduct who works in your force?

Grabbing an innocent Canadian on the streets SHOULD NOT be allowed.

I am copying this complaint to the Minister of Public Safety Denis Landry and the Premier Brian Gallant!!!

Please let me what is your response so I don't have to go to the R.C.M.P. myself. Maybe I will have to go to the Fredericton Police Force.

  1. The police are bullying you Charles, nothing more, nothing less. Police corruption at it's finest...picking on the lowest man on the totem pole...twisted and sick individuals in my books.
  2. I think the government needs to be investigated for the constant harassment of Mr. Leblanc and how much unnecessary money they have spent for this. It seems the taxpayers money could be better spent.

    Good day Charles,

The file has not been submitted to the Crown yet. I’m still waiting for some reports from Fredericton PF. I am in Fredericton Thursday and hope to get the material I asked for (video from the booking area, notes from police officers who escorted you, etc…)

I will let you know when the file is submitted to the Crown.

  8. Charles... Here is the website where you file complaints against the RCMP. I filed a complaint about seven years ago against a Constable Fabrice Gevadon ( One of the RCMP members who was gunned down) for police brutality. He was taking me to the hospital for depression and anxiety. He started using excessive force on me when I requested he and another officer that was present speak English to me. He placed me in handcuffs and twisted them so hard they left slash marks on my wrists. When in an emergency room at the hospital waiting for a Dr to see me. He slammed my head down onto the hospital floor which caused severe bruising on my head and around my eye. A few days later I was reading the paper and it mentioned a place where people could file complaints against tne RCMP. I called and someone took my complaint then was told there would be an investigation and that the investigation would be done by retired RCMP officers from NB, I lost faith in the process as I knew it would be biased. Kind of like having the Catholic Church doing their own investigations of perverted priests. I filed my complaint and emailed pictures of my bruised face. It dragged on for years and of course the end result was in Constable Gevadon's favor. They did admit some wrong doing on his part and said he would be given some classes on dealing with peoplewho have mental health issues. The investigations conducted by RCMP members are about as useless as the ones the language commie conducts but at least your complaint will be on file. Good luck to you Charles.

  9. I can't imagine any other reason than FEAR for why your other posters here are all posting as "anonymous". We really need to get over our fear if we want to live free. As soon as people speak out under their real names, the system is finished because bravery generates yet more bravery, just as you are proving, Charles.

In the 1980s, I fought the corrupt Irving puppet governments of Fredericton and the province of New Brunswick while simultaneously defending the students of UNB against a likewise Irving-controlled administration and patronage-appointee board of governors.

We students spent some thousands of dollars on our battle over five years, but bled the administration to the tune of some $2.7 million before we graduated and moved on to further studies. We drove out the then mayor, Elbridge Wilkins, and we terminated the presidency-for-life of UNB President James Downey (who was later run out again by the students at Waterloo). Students toppled pot-smoking coke-snorting Premier Tricky-Dick Hatfield... and we even forced Irving to move his abominable oil storage tanks that for decades blotted the waterfront of the North Side of Fredericton. But as students, we were all moving on with our lives, heading out of town and unable to fight more than a few years per generation. And in leaving, each of us became a part of the brain-drain that allows Irving to treat those who remain in New Brunswick as if they were barnyard animals...

Then you came along, Charles, and set the new gold standard for democratic resistance to the Irving family-owned plantation known as NB. What you have done has raised the heads of the local victims. You have proven to be the resistance that they cannot send on to further studies. So I want to thank you, on behalf of my student activist generation of the 1980s and on behalf of the 60s activists who supported our struggle in silence from their academic and government posts where silence was required to stay employed.

There is now a new generation of students in Fredericton who should come out massively in your defense, and another generation of pensioners and retirees who have won back their freedom of speech upon leaving their government-funded jobs. Activate them and you can bring the entire Irving rip-off scam down, so we can rebuild it all new... in the public interest!

Good luck Charles and more power to you and the downtrodden people of New Brunswick!

Former UNB Student Union President (1980s)

Good morning Mr. Leblanc, you have made a complaint to the New Brunswick police commission regarding the incident involving Deputy Chief Madore and Sgt Couturier, the police Commission has suspended the Police Act investigation effective November 23,2016 as there are ongoing criminal proceedings . If you feel that there is more to your complaint made previously at the police commission, you could report it to the Fredericton Police force.

  11. These are criminal assault charges. If you don't wish to do anything I will make a complaint to the Fredericton Police Force. I was told Andre Madore is traveling to Fredericton to collect evidence to lay charges against me.

These two individuals assaulted me on the Street without properly identifying themselves to me.

This SHOULD NOT be allowed in Canada.

    Thanks for your response.

Good morning,

We have received your e-mail to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax
Administration (TIGTA) Whistleblower Protection Ombudsman.  This
e-mail account and TIGTA’s Ombudsmen are available to Internal Revenue
Service (IRS) employees and applicants as well as contractors who have
been subjected to retaliation as a result of engaging in
whistleblowing activities (i.e., efforts on your part to report fraud,
waste, and abuse).  Based upon the information in your e-mail, it does
not appear that you fall within these parameters.

Thank you.

Mr. Amos,

When you called my cell phone earlier, as I was on my way into a
meeting, you offered to send me an e-mail outline the information you
are looking for from the David Suzuki Foundation. Is this it??

I am not responding to Dave Amos' emails, but I believe I have heard
he has some "issues". I have no sense of what his involvement is with
the organization or why he is threatening law suits (my receptionist
just intercepted a call and he told her he didn't want to leave a
message and to just tell her that he would "see me in court").

Does anyone have any idea what to do about this guy? Should we just
ignore him?

That includes little old me.and I took pictures to prove it was true.
Ask porcupine.(Since Cpl. Kevin Jackson of the RCMP has finally struck
himself dumb Chucky Leblanc should at least see himself and the CBC
dudes in the attached photo. While all the liberals dogs were sniffing
and licking each other's arses in front of the Legislature buildings,
I was having a rather interesting conversation with Bernie Lord (more
like a little lawyer doing a lot of double talking) in front of
several witnesses (his former Cabinet Ministers) beside the Centennial
Building where my father used to work for many Finance Ministers in
the past. Rest assured my father's ghost was laughing at the nonsense
of it all. However my son is not. (Sad but true)

Alas my poor father I knew him well. I have had a thousand times more
fun than he ever did. I have no doubt whatsoever that he is (his ghost
that is) impressed at how far his wild child had come in his efforts
at poking holes in the stuffed shirts that he had to obey. My father
toiled in an ethical fashion for a corrupt government in order to put
supper on the table and keep a roof over our heads. I do the same but
against the public corruption. My father knew me well as well. He knew
I would never follow orders and was far too dumb to know fear yet just
clever enough to do exactly what I wished in my own personal pursuit
of happiness. On his death bed my father admitted he was jealous of my
chosen lifestyle and sometimes wished he had chosen that path as well.
I thanked him for his blessing and for being a very honourable father.
Even though my father and I argued tooth and nail most of our lives,
he and I held a great respect for each other despite of it all. My
father left this wonderful old world knowing he had the respect and
love of a very different man whom he had raised as a son and friend.
All men should be so lucky EH?

My father, Max had five sons. I have only one. I named him after my
father. I know him well as well I raised him as a Mr. Mom. My son, Max
is more clever than my father and I put together. I made my son my
best friend out of the gate because that is the way it should always
be even though I am his boss for 18 years. Methinks my boy is on the
right path and he has witnessed and understands much already. I do all
of this for him in a similar fashion as what my father did for me. (In
case you haven't figured this out this was personal note to my son he
is in the USA and the Bcc line of this email. He checks my work and
stress tests my ethics all the time and I am proud that he does. We
argue a lot as well but with respect and joy. They say sons of strange
fathers go far in life EH? If my boy can ethically deal with me with
success, it follows that he will have an easy time with the likes of
you N'est Pas?

(P.S.I talked yesterday to that nasty old bureaucrat, Tiny Tim Andrew
who wants to Mayor of Fat Fred City. He was having fun with me and I
allowed it for a bit so that he would understand he was making fun of
the wrong pissed off Maritimer. Tiny Tim with the grey beard said he
remembered my Honourable Farmer Friend Werner Bock and also claimed
that he knew my father and Lloyd Nickerson, the Conservative dude who
married my mother after my father had died. When he joked while
munching his on supper that I had named my son after Mad Max I was all
done talking to that bastard outside of a court of law and let him
know in no uncertain terms as only I can do.)

Whereas you all claim to know so much, why should I brag of my prowess
at connecting dots? (Danny Boy Fitzgerald does that enough for both of
us N'est Pas?) Why not just save the fun for court? Sometimes less is
more so I will prove to Hollies and his boss why Johnny Crosbie needs
to sing for more booze because his powers to smooze are fading fast.
(Looks like I was kinda sorta wrong for a bit anyway but it must
really rot Byron Prior's socks that another devil he made a deal with
within the very same law firm that your buddy Richy hates so much is
now a Lieutenant Governor too. It appears to me that some Newfy's
truly are that dumb. and Patterson Palmer must have figured if it
worked once with Prior it would work twice) Press print on the
attachment Mr. Hollies look your new boss in the eye and talk of his
pal and the Newfy lawyer Crosbie. (I did not include it this time
because sometimes less is more EH?) Perhaps you have some interesting
pillow talk with your wife ASAP. She has already displayed to me that
she does not understand the meaning of the expression "non partisan".
Tell me honestly, do you think she will remain as Chief Electoral
Officer now that the liberal boys are back in town or will Barbara
Laundry get her old post back? I have not forgotten the tricks that
that woman pulled on me in the last federal election. Do you think the
new Commissioner Mr. Corbet ( I believed that was his name and I was
correct)will overlook just as the other Laundry dude did?

If I confuse you please understand that I am kinda sorta speaking in
riddles as any court jester or fool worth his sand would. Why let the
cat out of the bag too soon EH? (I am still the same you dudes will
never understand ethical thinking outside the box anyway) I am still
busy lining up my ducks. Never forget yesterday was only the second
day of duck season around home. I still have a whole month before the
Yankee federal election is a matter of important history. (Now we are
facing another one in short order) Perhaps the Maritimer in Stevey Boy
MacKinnon (notice he got shitcanned for opening his piehole and Doug
Tyler's sneaky plays for more gold keep backfiring on him too too too
funny EH?) Perhaps Johnny Crosbie is clever enough to explain the
following poem to the very dumb porcupine. He don't understand that he
is the goose the doesn't matter right now (his big day was today)as he
tries hard to pick a fight with me. I know my son will understand
because he longs to come to Canada to come hunting with me. After that
perhaps you dudes should give Greg Byrne's former law firm partner the
Newfy lawyer Stevey Boy May a call and ask him to explain the
following affidavit he wrote about a fool taking on Johnny Crosbie's
crowd of goofy Newfy's. Perhaps my fellow loser in this past election
Mr. Bruno Roy can explain the following email to y'all. (You are gonna
love the next two email Chucky baby one is a response from Greggy
Byrne and another is a response from Carl Davies that I have been
saving from four years ago it is time to send them to Stevey Boy
Harper to make the liberals sit up and pay attention to a pigheaded
Maritimer with a long memory and good records) Rest assured your old
lawyer pal Mr. Turner never will. (Do you even remember him Chucky?
Rest assured Brian Mulroney does.

A F F I D A V I T

I, Stephen J. May, of the City of St. John's, in the Province of
Newfoundland and Labrador, Barrister and Solicitor, make oath and say
as follows:

THAT I am a Partner in the St. John's office of PATTERSON PALMER
solicitors for William Matthews, the Member of Parliament for
Random-Burin-St. George's in the Parliament of Canada.

THAT Mr. Matthews originally retained Mr. Edward Roberts, Q.C. on or
about 30 April 2002 after Mr. Byron Prior, the Defendant/Plaintiff by
Counterclaim, had made allegations against Mr. Matthews in a
publication called "My Inheritance - The truth - Not Fiction: A Town
with a Secret". In that publication, the allegation was made that Mr.
Matthews had had sex with a girl who had been prostituted by her
mother. That girl was alleged to have been Mr. Prior's sister.

THAT upon being retained, Mr. Edward Roberts wrote a letter to Mr.
Prior. That letter to Mr. Prior is attached as Exhibit "1" to my
Affidavit.

THAT subsequent to Mr. Roberts' letter to Mr. Prior, Mr. Roberts
received a 1 May 2002 e-mail from Mr. Prior. That e-mail is attached
as Exhibit "2".

THAT subsequent to Mr. Roberts receipt of the e-mail, Mr. Prior swore
an Affidavit acknowledging that what had been said in that publication
was false. That Affidavit is attached as Exhibit "3" to my Affidavit.
Following Mr. Roberts' receipt of that Affidavit, Mr. Matthews advised
that he was satisfied not to pursue the matter any further and our
firm closed our file.

THAT on or about 25 October 2004, I was retained by Mr. Matthews
following his gaining knowledge that a web site, made a series of
allegations against him relating to my having sex with a girl of
approximately 12 years old through to an approximate age of 15 years
old. It also accused him of being a father of one of her children and
accused him of having raped that girl. Upon checking the web site I
saw that Byron Prior, the Defendant, had been identified as the author
of the material on the site.

THAT Mr. Matthews instructed me to write Mr. Prior, to remind him of
the fact that the allegations had been admitted to being false through
a 16 May 2002 Affidavit to advise him of Mr. Matthews' intentions to
commence legal proceedings if the comments were not removed from the
web site. A copy of my letter to Mr. Prior is attached as Exhibit "4"
to this Affidavit.

THAT I attach as Exhibit "5" a transcript from a 5 November 2004
voicemail left by David Amos, identified in the voicemail as a friend
of Mr. Prior.

THAT I attach as Exhibit "6" a portion of a 6 November 2004 e-mail
from Mr. Amos.

THAT until I received his voicemail and e-mail, I had never heard of Mr. Amos.

THAT Mr. Amos has continued to send me e-mail since his 5 November
e-mail. Including his 6 November 2004 e-mail, I have received a total
of 15 e-mails as of 23 January 2005. All do not address Mr. Matthews'
claim or my involvement as Mr. Matthews' solicitor. I attach as
Exhibit "7" a portion of a 12 January 2005 e-mail that Mr. Amos sent
to me but originally came to my attention through Ms. Lois Skanes
whose firm had received a copy. This e-mail followed the service of
the Statement of Claim on 11 January 2005 on Mr. Prior. I also attach
as Exhibit "8" a copy of a 19 January 2005 e-mail from Mr. Amos.

THAT I attach as Exhibit "9" a copy of a 22 November 2004 letter
addressed to me from Edward Roberts, the Lieutenant Governor of
Newfoundland and Labrador covering a 2 September 2004 letter from Mr.
Amos addressed to John Crosbie, Edward Roberts, in his capacity as
Lieutenant Governor, Danny Williams, in his capacity as Premier of
Newfoundland and Labrador, and Brian F. Furey, President of the Law
Society of Newfoundland and Labrador. I requested a copy of this
letter from Government House after asking Mr. Roberts if he had
received any correspondence from Mr. Amos during his previous
representation of Mr. Matthews. He advised me that he received a
letter since becoming Lieutenant Governor, portions of which involved
his representation of Mr. Matthews. Mr. Roberts' letter also covered
his reply to Mr. Amos.

THAT I attach as Exhibit "10" an e-mail from Mr. Amos received on
Sunday, 23 January 2005.

THAT I swear this Affidavit in support of the Application to strike
Mr. Prior's counterclaim.

The Goose that Didn't Matter

I guess at least eight hundred ducks have fallen to my gun,
And Charlie's always been right there retrieving every one.
But somehow, try as we might,no matter what our ruse,
We failed, that old Black Lab and I, to ever get a goose.

The vet had said it must be done, so bring him in on Monday.
His eyesight's weak and he's too old to brave the Bay of Fundy.
I'd picked him from the litter even though his was the runt.
And now fourteen years later, this would be our final hunt.
And so I asked a friend that night, who grew some corn and barley
If I could hunt his field next day, to get a goose for Charlie.

No bird came to our blind, alas, because of bluebird weather,
But still we enjoyed the day, because we were together,
While driving home with heavy heart, I rubbed the grizzled head,
And looking in those big brown eyes, to him, I softly said,
"You know a man can only do the best that he is able,
It don't appear there'll be a roasted honker on our table,
But Charlie, we'll have porkchops, since that is your favourite treat,
And you'll not just have one or two, but all that you can eat"

And so that night, by lantern light, we shared our final meal,
I talked to him of days gone by, of Mallards, Scaup and Teal,
Old Charlie wagged his tail with joy, beside his heaping platter,
And missing from the menu was, a goose - that didn't matter.

Speaking of Hitler? You people are narrow minded.

When I think of Hitler? Yes, I also think of the 20 million people

When Hitler took power he took control of the media to brinwash the
citizens of Germany. The same is happening here in New Brunswick with
the Irving monopoly.

Fascism? That's Hitler. When party members spoke out against Hitler?
They were beat up. The same that could have happen to me at

I wish you narrow minded people would just ignore this blog!!!

hello charles

thanks for finally doing the right think and showing david amos as the
other man to be banned from the legislature. i happend to be there
with him. he never even had entered the grounds, and never gave them a
reason for a ban, except that he had been digging up to much dirt of
people in high places, including in the new brunswick government, and
that made them nervos, so they send their pinchers to serve him with
the ban. when he showed it to me i went back and asked a comissionar
why mr amos had been banned, when he apparently had done nothing
wrong. the answer was, that they were not allowed to tell. so much for
open and accountable government in the pictureprovince.

comparing david with charles manson showes either ignorance on the
side of the commentator, or he or she is one of those creeps from the
dark side of humanity. as far as i know david, i only can say that i
think, that he is as straight as an arrow, and people of good will
better pay some attention to what he has to say. it is complicated,
but who says that live is simple, and only simple and shallow
individiums pass on rush judgements. never judge a book by its cover,
and never assume a man with a big beard to be of the kind of a charles
manson. neither should be assumed that everybody who drives a harley
is a hellsangel.

charles, i am new at this blogging, but i had to get this off my
chest. hope that i click the mouse at the right places and you get the
comment.

get a number and stand in line to argue me if they dare to do so.

With respect to Werner, why the RCMP refuse to investigate who has
been burning his hay bales for the past year is what I want to know
right NOW. Rest assured Cst Britt of the GRC's telling him to move
just won't do. I explained that to the nasty Federal buggers last week
as I complained of the false allegations of Scotty Baby Agnew of the
Irving Empire and his wife the lawyer to them

The ex RCMP dude Danny Boy Busierres and his associates T.J. Burke,
the cops in Fat Fred City and the National Security dudes such as Norm
Plourde and Kevin Jackson know that I am as serious as a heart attack
that is why all the dudes with no names pounced so quickly on this

FYI they are way past too late to stop me now. The very illegal

David, can you give me the court docket number of one single case
you've filed in ANY Canadian court in the last five years. Just one.
You rant and rave about your proclivuty to sue anyone and anything you
dislike and yet I cannot find a single reference to a court case filed
by you in New Brunswick. If you are a man of integrity and of your
word, please just let us all know the docket number of a single
filing. If you cannot provide that, why then should anyone listen to
anything you have to say? Empty words my friend. Empty words. BTW, two
more emails from you to a particular email account and I will be able
to provide a docket number to you for charges laid against you for
criminal harassment.

Music has been my passion and therapy for most of my life and as a performing musician for almost 50 years, wanted to find  a way to bring my musical passion (Blues Music) to the blues fans of Fredericton.

Pretty much got into this biz by accident but have now been flinging the blues at anyone who will listen for more than 10 years.

Figured if I'm going to go broke with a radio station, just as well be playing the music I love.  Hopefully you will love it too.

Got a favorite blues artist or song?  Let me know and I'll try to "get it on for ya".

Thanks for your support and "keep listening".

FROM THE TOP OF THE WORLD TO THE SCUM OF THE EARTH IN A MATTER OF MONTHS!!!!

Last week, I was approached by someone with an interesting story.

It's a tale of a guy who was on top of the world but came down pretty hard.

He used to be the owner of the City Motel in Fredericton.

00034

His name is Jim.

Jim was doing ok until his whole world came crashing down. I mean REALLY DOWN!!!

Until his downfall, he used to mingle with the higher ups of society.

He leased the City Motel for 10 years. I might add that he also owned the Lobster Hut which was attached to the Motel.

Many politicians would stay over night in that building. Ohhhhh???? If walls could talk??? But Jim sure can!!!!

Jim took his business very seriously!

He told me that if he was still the owner of the Motel and he would have seen this blogger in the building? He would have asked me to leave the area. I wouldn't even be allowed in the parking lot. Only if I was invited to the motel by the politicians in advance.

He made certain the MLA'S had privacy from the media.

Speaking of privacy? He went so far as building this back door so they could maintain their privacy.

0004000038

A meeting was arranged and I met with Jim.

He told me some very interesting tales raging from the politicians to the way the Fredericton Police Force handled his case.

Especially the story he told the Government that he would go public with some stories he seen in his motel?

The Government quickly reacted. It was sort of like my case of telling our elected officials that I would go public with the murder? < This is the only reason I was told that I was banned from the Legislature >

The Liberals quickly told me that they would haul me in court for Harassment!!!

I explained to Jim I was a blogger and anyone can become a journalist by writing their story and I'll blog it.

Too bad my recorder is broken because I would have just interviewed the guy. So we have to do it the hard way.

The interesting issue on this one? It was a Civil matter and the media still managed to put the story on the front page.

motel1

Also added was the Fredericton Police Force supervised the eviction.

What's with this????

Once this hit the front page? Jim’s life began his downward spiral.

Jim was the type of guy who was involved in all kinds of political events and he had a Carte Blanche to visit the P.C’S in their building but all this came to a sudden halt once he was told - In the future, he would have to make an appointment.

Jim didn't like the way he was treated so he threaten to go public with his stories of going ons in his Motel.

00041

Well, he ended up in a mental ward for three months because of other issues.

Well? After chatting with the guy, he didn't look coo coo to me?

He sounded very sincere with his emotional stories.

I'll be blogging the tales during the next few weeks.

jim

Stay tuned....

P.S. I hope I'm not shot on the streets because of this one?

Truly stay tuned....

I know Jim Oickle and have always thought of him as an honest and sincere person. What happened to him was wrong wrong wrong, from the way he was treated by the owners of the City Motel / Lobster Hut who stole his business to him being thrown in the Restigouche Institution in Campbellton because he wouldn't take the crap from anyone anymore. It's amazing what can happen when you start to threaten the establishment with their dirty little secrets. It's about time Jim's story was told. He has suffered so much, I think that this might help him by getting it off his shoulders. I bet a few people aren't going to be happy about it though... his enemies will be out with their knives soon enough...be brave Jim!

Hey Charles, I'm not sure if you have done a story on this but the Woolastook Park situation with Fred (Paget) and him losing it under "interesting circumstances". With camping season on the way, it will be interesting.
By the way, I think he did a great job. the park was closed when the Gov't owned it because they couldn't maintain it now he has put his life savings into it, they want it back - ridiculous!

charles,
i am glad you wrote a story about jim. i used to work in that building for both the lobster hut and the motel and loved every minute of it.

it's a shame, because the city motel and lobster hut was a good place to go and i was actually proud to say that i worked there instead of mcdonalds like everyone else my age, at the time.

i was there the day the cops all showed up at the motel. i went to the front desk and asked what was going on and my supervisor told me to go home. whoever took over the motel stopped giving me hours and wouldn't give me a reason as to why they stopped scheduling me. instead they said "we'll call you when we need you back", i figured i would wait a bit, and i never got that call back. i was 19, living on my own, paying my own bills and groceries and they didn't even care. i had to move back home and to this day, i will not step foot into that hotel or suggest anyone go there, because it isn't the same.

they ruined the look of the city motel and its not as inviting as it used to be when jim was running it. its quite a shame, really, and a stupid move on their part because now, all you see is an empty parking lot.

i am happy to hear he is still kicking around.

Now you've got my curiousity up. What happened at the City Motel / Lobter Hut anyways? I remember seeing it in the paper, looked like a big scam on the part of the owners to me. Wait until he's just about to take over the lease and steal it from him. We never did hear Jim's side of the story about how those creeps took his business away from him. I used to like the way it looked too, it had character. I think they even used to promote it on the tourism brochures because it was so interesting. Now it looks like any old place on the side of a highway. BORING. The empty parking lot tells it all. Didn't take them long to ruin a good business.

Charles I'm writing this comment to see if you get comments posted on stories this old. If so I think its time we tell the rest of the story.
I will answer any questions your readers wish to put to me in regards to what they have heard about me. I promise to tell only the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
You had a comment from a sister that I no longer see. Is it possible to retrieve it?

Nope...you told me to remove those stories...

sorry...

Good. Better that way, I'm sure an Anon will bring it up in regards to another issue and I will deal with it then. Thanks for taking it down when I asked. Love the Bedbug Story, this place needed to be looked at back when I was in business 4 years ago. Keep up the good work.
