Terror Tour w/ Morgan May
Join us for an exhilarating episode with Morgan May, where we spotlight Morgan, the famed Queen of Diagolon. As she makes waves across Canada with the highly publicized tour, Morgan and her companions Jeremy McKenzie, Derek Harrison, and Alex Vriend travel from coast to coast, engaging with fans and supporters in a series of impactful gatherings.
In this episode, Morgan will discuss the essence and objectives of the Diagolon tour, shedding light on the interactions and connections they're fostering nationwide. We'll delve into the stories that have captured headlines, the public's response, and the personal insights from the tour. This tour is not just a journey through the physical landscapes of Canada but also a deep dive into the cultural and societal pulse of the nation.
Please tune in for a close look at how Morgan and her team are challenging conventional narratives and aiming to redefine grassroots movements in Canada. This episode promises to profoundly explore activism, community, and the power of direct engagement across Canada’s diverse regions.
Ottawa police say they are aware and ready for an event planned by the extremist organization Diagolon.
The controversial far right group is beginning what it calls a Road Rage Terror Tour of Canada in the nation’s capital Saturday.
Diagolon is founded by Jeremy Mackenzie, a self-described Raging Dissident and has far right and white supremacist views. The tour will then head to Vancouver, Kamloops, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Hamilton and end in Halifax on Aug. 4.
The Ottawa Police Services told Capital Current that “although we do not have direct communication with the organizers and the specific location of the event remains unknown, we are taking this seriously and are fully prepared to respond to any situation that may arise.”
The statement continued to say that “OPS has plans in place for the deployment of officers, to ensure public safety and maintain order. Our officers are trained to monitor and manage demonstrations, and we are committed to taking action if any illegal activities or incidents of hate speech occur.
“We want to reassure the public that the safety and security of our community is our top priority. We have zero tolerance for hate speech and hate crimes.”
The force also said said they “will issue a public advisory to inform the community of traffic impacts and any security issues related to a demonstration, protest or major event” and “as always, we encourage the community to report any suspicious activity during any such event” in an email to Capital Current.
Ottawa has been a focus for right wing protests since the month-long so-called Freedom Convoy occupation of downtown in February 2022. Last year the city hosted a Convoy 2.0 event as well.
While the Ottawa police are being relatively low key about this event, a local group is raising a large red flag.
Community Solidarity Ottawa (CSO) is warning locals about the nature of this group.
CSO says Diagolon encourages violence against marginalized groups, including immigrants, the LGBTQ community and other minorities
“The Diagolon network is largely driven by anti-immigration sentiments and an underlying belief that Jewish people control every major institution,” a CSO spokesperson told Capital Current.
CSO is a volunteer nonprofit community group based in Ottawa dedicated to anti-fascist action and is calling on local leaders to speak out against Diagolon. CSO started during the 2022 Freedom Convoy as a measure to protect Ottawa locals. Now, their main role is providing volunteer security at Pride events.
The exact time and venue of the Diagolon event is unknown. Other tour stops are planned in public parks.
Along with speeches and networking with likeminded individuals, the event is a “financing opportunity” for the group which is selling tickets costing $60 and merchandise.
CSO said it’s difficult to estimate how many people will attend the event in Ottawa, but they have reason to believe that there will be at least a few dozen people.
“The figureheads of the Diagolon movement are setting out to different parts of Canada to meet their fans and charge money for speeches that seem to be similar to the content that they promote on their livestreams,” CSO said.
Diagolon takes inspiration from formal white power and neo-Nazi groups, but it is a decentralized fan-based network. Diagolon has not had an official presence in Ottawa since the first Convoy.
“Ottawa has seen members of Diagolon intimidate people in public and put up hateful propaganda in public so it’s not out of the question that these kinds of things might appear in higher volumes in the community that this venue is hosted at,” the CSO official said.
Other prominent figures in the group include MacKenzie’s partner Morgan Guptill, Derek Harrison, and Alex Vriend.
CSO describes Diagolon as “white-supremacist and neo-Nazi.”
“The Diagolon network is a loose network, but (it is) also becoming more of a formalized group of Canadian white nationalists, and its leaders are a (group) of livestreamers that emerged from the Plaid Army collective,” CSO said. The Plaid Army has been accused of Islamophobia and antisemitism.
CSO is asking politicians to denounce Diagolon.
“We would like politicians to at least denounce it, make it abundantly clear that bigots are not welcome, and so they can spread the message further so that people in affected communities across the city might be aware of what’s going on,” the official said.
CSO is encouraging Ottawa residents to share information about the
event with people they know who work at commercial venues and to share
any information about white supremacist events in their neighbourhoods
with communitysolidarity.ottawa@
CSO advises people to be aware of religious garments and displays in their cars or property, and to stay in groups, and to reach out to local politicians if they see anything that makes them feel unsafe.

MR. GREG DelBIGIO: Yes, Mr. Commissioner, my name is Greg DelBigio. On
behalf of the Canadian Council of Criminal Defence Lawyers, the CCCDL,
and the Criminal Lawyers Association, the CLA, my co-counsel, Collen
McKeown and I are pleased to have the opportunity to participate in
this Commission.
The CCCDL is a national council made up of senior criminal defence
lawyers. The council has existed since 1992 and has representatives in
every province and in Nunavut. The purpose of the CCCDL is to enhance,
support and improve criminal justice throughout Canada.
The Criminal Lawyers Association has existed since 1971 and serves as
the voice of criminal defence lawyers in Ontario and has over 1800
members in Ontario, across Canada and the United States. The CLA aims
to educate, promote and represent its membership on criminal law and
constitutional law issues impacting defence lawyers and clients.
Together, theCCCDL and CLA have experience and expertise in bringing
close scrutiny to the justification and use of government and police
powers. The Emergencies Act should be used sparingly, or as a last
resort, and only where credible evidence justifies its use. The
public's confidence and trust in the fair and proper administration of
law demands this.
During the evidence portion of the Commission, the CCCDL and CLA hope
to assist the Commission in understanding those facts which served as
foundations for the important decisions that were made by police and
elected officials and in understanding the ways in which those
decisions considered and impacted the interests and protected rights
of individuals. The evidentiary portion is important for transparency
and accountability, and for ensuring that the use of the Emergencies
Act was consistent with the maintenance, the rule of law, and the
Charter of Rights.
We are also eager to participate in the policy portion of the
Commission because beyond the specifics of this particular use of the
Emergencies Act, it is important that policy issues be considered, so
that the balance between the exercise of government power, the
exercise of police powers and protected individual rights can be
considered from a broader, national perspective, and where necessary,
improved. Thank you.

RE: Corruption
Hoka Hey,
Please find enclosed a copy of most of the material sent to
two Lieutenant Governors and the Governor General. The copy of wiretap
tape number 139 is served upon you in confidence as officers of the
court and a Minister in our government in order that it may be
properly investigated. I have also enclosed a copy of a letter I
composed months ago but never sent and some other information you may
find interesting about the political scene in South Dakota.
Leonard has been a political prisoner for far too long with
Canadian assistance let us not allow history to repeat itself with
John Graham.
May I suggest that you all give my friend Barry Bachrach a
call, drop my name and then look to the best interests of the people
that you are employed to speak for. There is a strong possibility that
my actions may embarrass you in the near future if you choose to
ignore this letter. You are looking at just the tip of a very
malevolent iceberg that we all know exists. No government is beyond
reproach once the electorate has been properly informed. Conrad Black
just proved to us all how bad things realy are if anyone was paying
attention.
Cya’ll in Court :)

This really pissed me off. I have long email exchanges with him
and when he and Paul Saba spoke in Milton (I had served Saba the same
stuff you got at the same time.) I gave the same stuff to Noam's help
without a CD recording. The old bugger don't mind running off to
Canada to rub elbows with other Canadians he finds newsworthy but
won't even pick up the phone to call me. He sure can talk a good talk
though. I even had a long talk with Graham's buddies. I guess it is
time to write his lawyers a letter do you wish for me to mention you?

Anyway it ain't no matter to me now Their mail is filed in
court for the public to view. If they want to piss and moan about it
they can argue me later in court.
They are public servants they should read their god damned mail.
The Postal Service has a little explaining to do anyway over the
Attorney General Robb Quinan and his Mail fraud anyway. I will just
and this shit to it. I knew old man Ronald Irwin would duck and run
but arguing Longo should be fun,
What I did in Norfolk Probate Court today was way beyond fun
it went way better than I dreamed it could. October 1st should prove
to be quite a hoot after meeting Angie in court today. I wonder if
Longo is a pretty as she is. She looks good in her picture anyway I am
certain that she is a damn sight smarter than Angie. Angie is so
stupid I almost feel ashamed for making her show me her ass. (Not
really I am an ass man)
Now it appears all the Canadian Boobs have shown me their ass
a well. Time to talk to the right Yankees just before the November
Election and then head out as planned. i finally got the tape from the
New Brunswick Police Commission and I will send a copy of it your way
someday Byron. I made sure I mentioned you several times and showed
them the documents but I didn't speak of what it was about but
everybody will know they got something really kinda big. I did to
protect ya buddy. I also mentioned Barry once. I hope Barry called you
today. I know the FEDS are likely listening and reading our emails so
I recorded it here to protect the both of you and Collen Rowley as
well. I cannot afford the time
to wait for her to retire she is more valuable to me as an honest
lawyer within the FBI before the Yankee federal election, not
afterwards.
I also hear Jean and Joyse on the tape so it should protect
their butts as well. I will order a copy of the Probate Court tape as
soon as we can afford it. But it will likely be edited anyway

Interim President Brian Samuel makes a statement regarding the 2022
Mayoral Candidate Questionnaire issued by the Ottawa Police
Association
https://www.cbc.ca/news/
How a council meltdown let down a city in crisis
Mayor Jim Watson may have had reasons to lose faith in OPS board, but he squandered his credibility years ago
It's not often — in fact, it's never — that an Ottawa city council meeting garners national attention. Last week's histrionics attracted more than 10 times the usual eyeballs on YouTube, spawning news commentaries that characterized it as everything from appalling to dysfunctional and embarrassing to any reasonable citizen of this city.
Watching the tears, the accusations, the ousting of the police oversight board's chair and calls for the mayor to resign, you might well believe this city council imploded under the weight of the historic civil unrest the capital has experienced this month.
But for close observers, council's conduct wasn't a surprise. Instead, it was the culmination of years of rivalry, pettiness and personality politics, all coming to a head at the worst possible moment.
Although all members bear some responsibility for last Wednesday's debacle, the mayor is the head of council and his leadership has set the tone for the divisiveness that has characterized his most recent term of office.
From the moment Jim Watson was re-elected in 2018, he effectively froze downtown councillors out of leadership positions, and has passed over more experienced councillors — who may not agree with him — for newbies who may have to lean more on his office for help.
And with Diane Deans now removed as head of the Ottawa Police Services Board, not a single woman chairs a council committee or board, despite the fact that one-third of council is female.
Several councillors told Mayor Jim Watson they had lost confidence in his ability to lead the city and called on him to resign at a lengthy and emotional council meeting last week. (Laura Osman/CBC)
That there's no love lost between Deans and Watson is hardly news.
The mayor has rebuked Deans publicly on many occasions. He's rebuffed her calls for an audit of the LRT (which council later approved), slammed her suggestion to cut bus fares in the summer of 2019 until the delayed LRT was up and running (council later offered free fares for an entire month) and had her microphone cut off during a debate on a possible judicial inquiry over the LRT, for which he apologized the next day. (It's worth noting the province is moving full-speed ahead with its own public inquiry on the Confederation Line at this very moment.)
Watson even once refused to allow Deans to ask a question at the finance committee meeting, to which she does not belong, which is completely unheard of.
So when Watson told Deans last week he no longer had confidence in her as the chair of the police board, it's understandable that some saw the move as a personal vendetta or, as one councillor put it, "100 per cent political."
Here's the thing: Maybe it wasn't.
Consider that Deans, with the backing of the police services board, signed a contract to hire an interim police chief from outside the city within 24 hours of Peter Sloly resigning as police chief. In fact, the news release announcing the shocking resignation of the police chief — in the middle of a massive crisis — on Feb. 15 ended with the statement that the board "will be appointing a new chief very soon."
Apparently, "very soon" meant the following day.
- Peter Sloly resigns as Ottawa's police chief, says force now 'better positioned to end this occupation'
- Analysis: Peter Sloly takes the hit for loss of public trust in Ottawa police
Now, the police services board is an autonomous body, and has every right to hire a new chief. But it's an unquestionably odd move to bring in someone — even if it's on a short-term basis, even if he's well-regarded — without discussing the matter with the mayor and council first, to say nothing of the public, and just as an operational plan to end the downtown occupation is being launched.
That's not to say the board should have to have council's approval, but it should not have come as a surprise that many of Deans's council colleagues were none-too-happy to be blindsided by the news. It should be noted that three board members resigned in support of Deans.
Among the analysis and soul-searching that will occur over the events of the past month will be serious questions regarding police governance.
And in the coming weeks, we may have more clarity over whether Deans made a too-fast decision, or Watson overstepped his authority having Deans removed from the police services board.
But it should never have come to this.
Elected officials should disagree. They should hold various perspectives, be able to argue behind closed doors, and at public meetings.
What they shouldn't do is get entrenched in deep divisions that make it impossible to have constructive discussions during a city crisis. The mayor and Deans should have been able to come to some sort of mutual agreement — or at the very least be able to talk over a decision of this magnitude for more than five hours on the day the contract is completed.
Perhaps Watson could have asked the board to consider waiting until after the truck protesters were cleared out of the downtown core before bringing someone in from the outside. Perhaps Deans could have let council know the board's plans before signing on the dotted line.
None of this happened because there's no trust on this council between what's been dubbed the Watson Club —those who often vote with the mayor — and the Detention Club detractors.
Everyone's to blame, from those who let the mayor's office whip their votes, to those who ratchet up the rhetoric, or call for the mayor to resign.
(It's hard to see how Watson leaving in the middle of this mess would help. Would we be in better shape handing over the reins to one of the deputy mayors, such as first-term Coun. Laura Dudas? Or drive-and-Zoom Coun. George Darouze, who dissented on a council motion to apologize to downtown residents for failing to provide safety and security to them during the protests?)
As the head of council, though, Watson needs to take ownership for the broken culture at council, and he's bearing the brunt of that now.
The mayor might have a valid, non-political, reason not to support Deans's decision to hire an interim chief — that remains to be seen — but he's squandered any benefit of the doubt many may have afforded him on this issue.
