Files on Sunwing party flight passengers sent to Quebec prosecutor, says federal health minister

Some travellers from party flight returned to Canada on 4 different flights Wednesday: Jean-Yves Duclos

About a quarter of the travellers caught partying on a Sunwing flight from Montreal to Cancun late last month have found their way back to Canada, according to Federal Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos.

Duclos said 27 of the 130 passengers on the Dec. 30 flight, who had been stranded in Cancun after Sunwing cancelled their return flight and several other airlines said they would ban them, were able to return to Canada on four different flights Wednesday.

Images and videos from the flight showed passengers ignoring public health measures, jumping and dancing in the aisle, vaping and openly passing around a bottle of hard liquor on the plane. In one video, a person was seen crowd-surfing while the plane was in the air.

Federal, provincial officials co-operating: Duclos

At a news conference Friday, Duclos said the passengers were stopped by border service agents upon arrival and were required to undergo COVID-19 testing.

Authorities also verified their vaccination information, the validity of their pre-arrival PCR tests and inquired about their quarantine plans, he said.

The health minister also said Quebec provincial police had reached out to Canada's Public Health Agency for the travellers' contact information.

He said the federal government had sent files about the travellers to Quebec's public prosecutions office, the Directeur des poursuites criminelles et pénales du Québec (DPCP).

On Friday evening, however, spokesperson Audrey Roy-Cloutier sent out a tweet saying the DPCP hadn't yet received any files relating to the events that took place on the Dec. 30 Sunwing flight.

In a followup, Roy-Cloutier said when the DPCP does receive passenger files and information from the federal authorities who are investigating, the evidence will be analyzed to see if it warrants prosecution.

Investigations may result in fines, jail time

The federal government released a statement Tuesday saying the departments of Transport, Public Safety and Health have all launched investigations into the incident.

There could be fines of up to $5,000 from Transport Canada for each offence on board, according to the statement.

Additional fines and even jail time could follow if passengers were found to be endangering others, or if they provide falsified information upon their return to Canada.

At least one of the passengers tested positive for COVID-19 after the flight to Mexico.

Rebecca St-Pierre, 19, confirmed to The Canadian Press that she tested positive on Wednesday and is currently isolating in Tulum, south of Cancun.

'Slap in the face'

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Wednesday he was "extremely frustrated" seeing the videos.

"It is a slap in the face to see people putting themselves, putting their fellow citizens, putting airline workers at risk by being completely irresponsible."

He said Transport Canada is taking the situation "extremely seriously" and would be continuing its investigation.

CBC News reached out to several of the people seen on the flight, but has not yet received a response.

The plane was privately chartered by 111 Private Club, a promoter that organized the six-day, all-inclusive event in Cancun. In its advertising for the event, the promoter had claimed the plane would have a DJ.

James William Awad, who operates the company, tweeted Tuesday that the group "respected all instructions given by Sunwing" and that the alcohol was sold to them on board, calling the event a "success."

He later posted another tweet, saying he is taking the matter "very seriously."

"A simple party on a plane did all this buzz," he wrote, noting he would "take a moment" to rethink everything.

I take this matter very seriously. A simple party on a plane did all this buzz. I will take a moment to sit down and re think everything. Especially how I can do things better next time. Give me a moment to understand the situation better.

Return flight cancelled

Sunwing said it notified Transport Canada after holding its own investigation, saying "the behaviour of a group of passengers was unruly and contravened several [regulations]."

The group was scheduled to return to Montreal today. Sunwing said it reached out to the organizers with terms and conditions for them to board.

"Unfortunately, the group did not accept all of the terms," it said in a statement to CBC News.

As a result, Sunwing cancelled the return flight. It said it would co-operate with Transport Canada's "full investigation" into the matter.

Air Transat said in an Instagram post Wednesday that it became aware that some of the passengers were attempting to return to Canada on its flights.

"We confirm that they will be denied boarding," it said.

Air Canada also said "to the extent that we can identify the passengers who were part of the group" it too would deny them boarding "to ensure the safety of other passengers and its crew."

Danger to plane, crew

Aviation experts say the behaviour on the plane was not only violating pandemic public health measures, but risked the safety and security of those onboard.

Mehran Ebrahimi, who heads an aerospace industry research unit at the University of Quebec at Montreal, pointed to the vaping on board as an example.

"That could set off the fire alarms, which could be very dangerous. It would signal a fire aboard, and the captain wouldn't know where it was from," he explained.

"These people think because they paid, because they're pseudo-influencers, they think they can do whatever they want," Ebrahimi said.

According to the federal government's statement about the flight, someone found guilty of endangering the lives of others and causing harm could face up to three years in prison and up to $1 million in fines.

Rena Kisfalvi, president of the Canadian Union of Public Employees local that represents about 1,000 Sunwing flight attendants, called for strict consequences.

"These passengers who do not comply [with regulations], will they be charged? Will they be denied boarding in the future? Are they being placed on a no-fly list?" she asked.

"Maybe we, as a government, need to take this step to tell the travelling public: 'look, we're serious here.'"

Official Statement (English)

I appreciate your patience. As I thoroughly reviewed the current situation, I understand why many fellow citizens are upset about the current situation. As someone who enjoys bringing people together, I committed to hosting a private and safe event in Cancun with my group from the 111 private club.

I chartered a private aircraft and private transportation to ensure everyone's safety. We also took additional steps by getting everyone tested before leaving Montreal to make sure the whole group was safe and thus even if the Mexican authority does not require a negative PCR test to enter.

In that private aircraft, only my group was presumed authorized to board. I chartered the whole flight for us and only us.

On Tuesday, I met with a Sunwing security representative to discuss the following conditions :

-Security Manager and three (3) additional In-Flight Guardians to be on board at my expense.

-No Inflight Meal

-All carry-on pieces of luggage other than small purses, passports and cellphones are to be stored in the hold. This includes any duty-free purchases.

-Masks are to be worn at all times, covering the nose, mouth and chin in accordance with -Transport Canada regulations.

-No alcohol will be served.

-All PAX to have proof of a valid PCR test as per PHAC.

-All PAX to check-in and board in a sober condition

-All PAX are to remain seated and belted unless using the lavatory.

-Standing in the aisle will not be permitted.

-Organizer to be held responsible if the flight has to divert to an alternate location due to non-compliance.

I agreed to every demand, including multiple In-Flight Guardians, I assured them every measure would be followed, but we couldn't conclude an agreement because Sunwing refused to Provide Meals to the group for a 5h flight.

They cancelled our flight based on presumptions, and thus others companies followed their steps.

At this time, the 111 private club is working tirelessly to get everyone back home safely as quickly as we can. The 111 private club is a dream and a vision that I poured my heart and soul into creating. This was my first travel event. I have significantly learned, and I am still learning from this experience. Learning from them is what makes the difference.

Success and humility go hand-in-hand, believes James William Awad

(photo credit: James William Awad)
(photo credit: James William Awad)
Don’t let success go to your head. Most of us have heard this saying, sometimes in our favorite films and sometimes from loved ones. But what does it really mean? Is success like a cold draft that can make us regret stepping out in the Arctic without a warm cap and thus get to our head? If so, which is the warm cap that will not only prevent us from exposing our vulnerable and precious heads but also allow us to venture out despite the deadly winds? Success should not get to our head because it then leaves little room for anything else. The only thing that offers protection against such a scenario is our own humility. This is what James William Awad a.k.a Senior Musician firmly believes. For him, success and humility indeed go hand-in-hand.

James William Awad, the founder of TripleOne (111), has had a busy life as a musician. For him, music is life. This sense of entitlement felt natural to him and he felt drawn to creating music from an early age. Naturally, discipline, consistency, and diligence led Senior to success, or rather success found him. Now he had to make a choice – whether to let the success that felt so deserving and sweet go to his head or allow it to fuel his hunger for more. He weighed his decision upon the consequences of both actions. Senior reminisces, ''I think when we let success get to our head, we give over our life to something else. From that moment, something else takes over and we, that is, who we really are, are relegated to the background, suspended from executive duty. This results in a change in our attitude. We become too big for our boots, and others start feeling smaller. Before we know it, our circle of reliable friends begins to diminish because they can see that the change is not for the good. We can become solipsistic, too caught up in the world of our imagined self-grandeur, and eventually lose track of reality. So, it was either all this or continuing on from scratch, scared, vulnerable but happy to create. Of course, I chose to be the latter.''

Humility is a very misunderstood concept in our world. It's really unfortunate that most of us think of it as a weakness when in fact it is the highest courage we will ever have. To be humble is to accept that you don’t know everything because there's just so much to know. You are willing to learn and become good at what you do. This is the reason why humility and success go hand-in-hand for Senior. He states, ''It is all about keeping it real. That's where the good stuff comes from. Humility allows me to remember that neither I nor anybody else is invincible and irreplaceable. It keeps me grounded, neck-deep in work, and never lets me forget where I come from or how I got here from there. It's really like a good friend you never had. It keeps an eye on your movement, guards you against a mushrooming ego, and therefore keeps you safe and secure in life at all times.''

It's surprising to notice how little artists and other successful people talk about investing in humility. For most people, success is simply a pass to be an arrogant prick who believes they can get away with anything. That's not success, that's the misuse and abuse of success. If true success gives you anything, it is the license to create and continue doing what you do. It doesn’t take away the sweetness of being loved, remembered, and recognized; it just creates a place in you that nothing can touch. A place that is too sacred for both failure and success, the most secret place within the depths of your being. For Senior, that is exactly what an artist needs, a place of ''internal meditation, a permanent cave within the recesses of your soul that allows you to see clearly and create beautifully. Humility is the bridge that connects our work to ourselves without tarnishing it with fame and all the frivolities that come attached with it. It keeps us on our toes and does not let us forget that beauty is an outcome of love and hard work and not success.''

James William's words of wisdom will resonate with people of all ages. Because they have in them the power to guide artists and entrepreneurs and people, in general, to bring humility in their life at no extra cost but at a desire of the will.

Federal transport minister asks for investigation into Sunwing party flight to Mexico

Unmasked passengers appeared to be vaping, sharing bottle of vodka

Videos of the Dec. 30 flight shared on social media appear to show passengers not wearing masks as they gather in close proximity, dancing in the aisle and on seats. In one video, a large bottle of vodka appears to be passed among passengers.

According to reports, the plane had been chartered and some of the passengers were cast members from Quebec reality television shows.

Alghabra said in a post on Twitter that the risks of COVID-19 need to be taken seriously.

I am aware of the reports of unacceptable behavior on a Sunwing flight. I have asked Transport Canada to investigate the matter. We must take the risks of COVID seriously!

Rena Kisfalvi, president of the Canadian Union of Public Employees local that represents about 1,000 Sunwing flight attendants, also called the behaviour unacceptable.

In a statement, Sunwing says it notified Transport Canada about the behaviour and its security department is investigating.

"The health and safety of our employees and passengers is our top priority," Sunwing said. The passengers' behaviour was "unruly and contravened several Canadian Aviation Regulations as well as public health regulations."

It also said it set conditions for the group's return to Montreal Jan. 5 but that "unfortunately, the group did not accept all the terms." As a result, Sunwing has cancelled the flight home.

In-flight influencer party: organizer makes a long statement

In-flight influencers party: the organizer makes a long statement

MISE & Agrave; DAY

James William Awad, the organizer of the private flight that took hundreds of disruptive influencers to Cancun at the end of last December, explained in a lengthy blog statement.

The man, already fined by the AMF for having illegally exercised the activity of securities broker is today at the head of the company 111 private club. & nbsp;

In 2017, the young man, then called Kevin Awad, asked the Registrar of Civil Status to change his name to James William, an amendment that came into effect in 2019. & nbsp; & nbsp;

  • Listen to Sophie Durocher's interview with Claudie Mercier, content creator and ex-candidate for Double Occupation South Africa in 2019 on QUB radio: & nbsp; & nbsp;

Here is the long explanation he published this morning. & nbsp;

I appreciate your patience. By examining the current situation in depth, I can understand why citizens can be angry as a result of the events. Being a person who loves to bring people together, I was committed to doing a safe private event in Cancun with my group from 111 private club.

I hired a private plane to keep everyone safe. We have also taken additional steps by requiring that all passengers be tested in Montreal to ensure a safe journey, even though Mexican authorities do not require a negative PCR test to enter their country.

In this private plane, only my group was allowed to board. The plane was rented for my group and my group only.

On Tuesday I had a meeting with a Sunwing safety representative to discuss the following conditions: & nbsp; & nbsp;

  • The presence of the Security Director during the flight as well as 3 guards at my expense; & nbsp; & nbsp;
  • No meals during the flight; & nbsp; & nbsp;
  • All hand luggage other than handbags, passports, cell phones must be properly stowed. This also includes duty-free purchases of items; & nbsp; & nbsp;
  • Surgical masks must be worn at all times, covering nose, mouth and chin as Transport Canada requirements stipulate. & nbsp; & nbsp;
  • No alcoholic drinks will be served & nbsp; & nbsp;
  • All passengers must have a valid negative PCR test approved by the Public Health Agency of Canada ** & nbsp; & nbsp;
  • All passengers must be sober when checking in as well as when boarding the aircraft & nbsp; & nbsp;
  • All passengers must remain seated with seat belts, with the exception of using the bathroom & nbsp; & nbsp;
  • No stand in the aisle & nbsp; & nbsp;
  • The organizer is held responsible if the flight is diverted due to non-compliance with the conditions & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;

I accepted all its conditions including the presence of the guards while assuring them that the established measures would be respected.

We could not close the deal as Sunwing refused to provide meals to passengers on a 5 hour flight.

They canceled our flight based on assumptions and so did the other airlines.

At this precise moment, the 111 private club is working tirelessly to ensure a safe return to Montreal as quickly as possible.

The 111 private club is a dream and a vision in which I put my heart and soul into its creation. This was my first travel event. I have learned a lot and continue to learn from this experience.

Learning from your experiences is what makes the difference.

Influencers' trip: find out who is the organizer, James William Awad

Travel influencers: find out who is the organizer, James William Awad

MISE & Agrave; DAY

Six years before planning the notorious mad robbery to Cancun, James William Awad was fined for illegally trading in securities. He is now at the head of a company with an unusual business model.

According to the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), Mr. Awad has collected at least $ 10,000 from seven friends and acquaintances to invest in the stock market in late 2012 and early 2013. He was 19 at the time. At the end of 2015, he was fined $ 2,000.

His then-company, KJRVS, asked investors, known as “members,” to vote on buy and sell transactions. These were carried out for the group through Mr. Awad's personal brokerage account.

New name

In 2017, the young man, who was then called Kevin Awad, asked the Registrar of Civil Status to change his name to James William, an amendment which came into force in 2019.

In the meantime, in 2018, Mr. Awad founded TripleOne, a Montreal firm incorporated in Delaware. On its website, TripleOne describes itself as the “& nbsp; first decentralized company in the world & nbsp;”. & Nbsp;

According to an explanatory document available online, “users” of TripleOne can suggest new projects to the company and “vote” over those offered by others. “Users are rewarded for their activity at the end of each month”, it reads.

Paid hacking

To boost TripleOne , articles have been published on various more or less well-known websites, embellished with photos of James Awad. & nbsp;

It is said that at the age of 14, Mr. Awad received a programming mandate for a Mexican bank by pretending he was 28 years old, which would have allowed him to pay the mortgage of the her parents' house for a year. And that at 15, thanks to a “hack & nbsp;” (hacking), he succeeded in “generating” virtual coins while playing online, which reportedly earned him “a lot of money”. His bank would then have closed his account.

James William Awad also controls Prime Corporation International, which is said to be active in IT services and real estate, and the Crusty Crust restaurant in Dollard-des-Ormeaux. Prime Corporation was incorporated in Quebec in 2017, then in Panama in 2019.

Mr. Awad did not respond to Journal requests for information on Wednesday.

– In collaboration with Olivier Bourque, Julien McEvoy, Francis Pilon, Philippe Langlois and Pascal Dugas-Bourdon

A small real estate empire & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;

Awad paid 1, $ 65 million in cash, in 2019, for this Bois-des-Filion house.

& nbsp;

Awad has purchased 11 properties in Quebec since 2018 for a total of $ 17.3 million. Besides this large sum, two other details strike the imagination: he paid cash for each property and he bought them all through his multiple numbered companies registered in Quebec and Delaware. And it picked up the pace in 2021: 7 of the 11 buildings were purchased in the past 12 months. In Bois-des-Filion, in the Lower Laurentians, Awad has six houses on the same street. Among other things, we find the castle shown here in mortise, paid $ 1.65 million in September 2019. The other properties are located on the island of Montreal and in Laval. Unusually, it was sometimes Kevin, sometimes James who represented the companies that bought the buildings.

James William or Kevin Awad? & nbsp; & nbsp;

Awad categorically denies changing his name from Kevin Awad to James William Awad. The public archives of the Registrar of Civil Status of Quebec, which everyone can consult, however prove beyond any doubt that he did indeed change his name in 2019.

< p> When The Journal asked James William Awad if he had changed his name, the principal concerned denied outright. “& Nbsp; Kevin? No. Mapele people [ sic ] senior. Senior or James William Awad & nbsp; “, he wrote in response to the Messenger app. Yet Awad did make an official name change request in 2017, then submitted another in 2019 to the Registrar of Civil Status. In the archives, it is written that the name of Kevin Awad has indeed been changed to James William Awad.

He was sanctioned by the AMF & nbsp; & nbsp;

In 2015, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) warned consumers against Awad.

& nbsp;

At not even 20 years old, Awad entered the investment business, but without having the experience or the training of a broker, which attracted the attention of the financial policeman of Quebec —. “Kevin Awad really jumped into the void”, is it written in the court documents consulted by The Journal . After an investigation initiated in 2013, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) decided to warn consumers against the activities of Awad and its company KJRVS. He is criticized for approaching investors without being registered as a broker with the AMF. The Administrative Court of Financial Markets prohibited him “& nbsp; all transactions on securities & nbsp;”, ordered him to close his websites and imposed a fine of $ 2000 on him. Contacted by Le Journal , the AMF stresses that the penalty was paid and that the file was closed in 2016. The company KJRVS was canceled in 2018. & nbsp;

Anthony Jackson-Hamel, at Saputo Stadium, in 2019, while wearing the Impact colors, since renamed CF Montreal. The 28-year-old forward is now a DJ and works for James William Awad's company.

& nbsp;

Anthony Jackson-Hamel, who played seven seasons with the Impact (now CF Montreal), is an “executive agent” of TripleOne, the principal company of James William Awad. According to his LinkedIn page, he has been for almost 3 years. What is less clear is what it is. Jackson – Hamel, who did not answer our calls on Wednesday, is also vice president of another Awad company, Wun Wun Wun Investments. The 28-year-old ex-professional athlete hasn't played in MLS for over a year. Often bored with injuries during his career, the forward has yet to announce his retirement. But his new projects are clear: he will do in music. Anthony Jackson – Hamel has become Tony Lee on social media, where he can be seen driving turntables in different locations. The new DJ recently showed his presence as an artist at a nightclub in Tulum, Mexico, where he still resides … as Awad. & Nbsp;

Concept v2.2

Last revised: September 17, 2021

Introduction

TripleOne is a "decentralized" business where users work together to help build its projects and support the overall operation of the business.

A user can vote on other users’ ideas, suggest new ideas and projects or complete certain tasks. Users are rewarded for their activity at the end of each month. The concept is divided into different parts and is fully disclosed in this document.

TripleOne is 100% owner of all technologies and companies listed on the assets page. Because of that, the concept of decentralization is easily enforced throughout our subsidiaries.

Segments

TripleOne uses a credit and rewards system to determine eligibility and calculate rewards for users who are active.

TripleOne Segments are credited to user accounts who register on our website and support the overall operation of the business. TripleOne Segments are “permanent”. By “permanent”, it means that they can never disappear from a user account unless the account is cancelled or closed, or as provided in the applicable user terms. Project Segments are also credited to user accounts who have had their projects portfolio selected through the community-based selection process after a project investment session.

At the start of each month, collections are made from the eligible TripleOne companies and collected amounts enter the available budget for the rewards calculation (refer to the list of budgets to understand that calculation).

The amount of cash rewarded to an eligible user from the TripleOne Segments available budget depends on how many TripleOne Segments have been credited to that user account. For example, if the total available budget collected for the rewards calculation is $1,000 for all TripleOne companies and a user account was credited with 100,000,000 TripleOne Segments (with a total of 1,000,000,000 TripleOne Segments credited in total to all user accounts), it means that the user linked to that account will receive 10% of $1,000, resulting in a payment of $100.

The amount of cash rewarded to an eligible user from Project Segments is based on the available project budget collected from eligible projects and a corresponding rewards calculation formula. Project Segments are credited to user accounts that are active in the development of a specific project by helping improve its performance through suggestions, voting, etc. Project Segments are inflationary and credited to user accounts based on their activity. For example, if the total available budget collected for rewards calculation is $1,000 for an eligible project and a user account was credited with 10,000 Project Segments (with a total of 100,000 Project Segments credited to all user accounts for that project), it means that the user linked to that account will receive 10% of $1,000, resulting in a payment of $100. New TripleOne Segments are “created” at a rate of 0.5% of all TripleOne Segments in circulation on a monthly basis. The new TripleOne Segments are credited to user accounts based on how many TripleOne Points were credited to that user account in the last month.

Points

TripleOne Points are credited to user accounts who support the overall operation of the business. TripleOne Points are "temporary" and removed from all user accounts at the end of each month.

At the start of each month, collections are made from our eligible TripleOne companies and collected amounts enter the available budget for the rewards calculation (refer to the list of budgets to understand that calculation). The amount of cash that is rewarded to an eligible user from the TripleOne Points available budget depends on how many TripleOne Points have been credited to that user account and how many TripleOne Points have been credited to all user accounts.

For example, if the total available budget collected for the rewards calculation is $1,000 for all TripleOne Points where User A’s account is credited with 200 TripleOne Points, and User B’s account is credited with 200 TripleOne Points. This brings the total amount of credited TripleOne Points to 400. This means that User A and User B will each be rewarded with 50% of the available budget for the rewards calculation, resulting in a payment of $500 to each user linked to those two accounts.

User accounts credited with TripleOne Points are also credited with FDX and Ranking Points. User accounts are credited with 0.001 FDX and 1 Ranking Point per one TripleOne Point. User accounts will be credited with TripleOne Points when they are active in the development of the company by voting on other users input, sharing ideas and completing tasks.

Cards

TripleOne cards are reserved (free of charge) for those who have purchased at least one service or product from an eligible TripleOne company. A TripleOne card can be used to collect points, save money on purchases, access membership services at eligible TripleOne companies and more.

Multiple cards can be linked to your account and do not expire unless the account is cancelled or closed, or as per the applicable terms. A card can only be linked to one account at a time. You may contact the TripleOne support team to report the loss or theft of your missing card. There is a small fee for requesting a new card.

Votes

TripleOne uses a voting system to enhance decentralization by allowing user opinion about what is "good" or "bad" for the company.

There are two types of votes: Normal Votes (also called “Voting Points”) and Special Votes. Both can be either Positive or Negative. Normal Votes are credited to users at the beginning of each month.

The number of Normal Votes that are credited to a user depends on its rank. On the other hand, Special Votes are credited to users who vote on something that was considered "bad" by other users but ended up being "good". TripleOne Points are also credited to users who gain Special Votes. For example, if a user positively votes that a certain stock should be deemed investable, and its opinion was not considered by other users, the system keeps track of that stock meaning that if it ends up performing well in the future, users who voted "positively" for that stock are credited with Special Votes.

Special Votes do not expire unless the account is cancelled or closed or under the applicable terms, unlike Normal Votes. Normal Votes are removed from user accounts at the beginning of each month. Users are limited to how many times they can vote during a period of one month based on their Rank.

Users can cast votes without using their monthly “Voting Points” only on eligible subjects. A user can vote positively or negatively on different things such as project ideas suggested by other users, stock investment opinions, comments made by other users, job applications and everything that surrounds the TripleOne business activity.

Users can call “voting sessions” to suggest changes for eligible TripleOne companies, products and a large variety of projects inside TripleOne. A voting session can either be public or private. A public voting session is made available for all user accounts while a private voting session is only made available to a small group of user accounts based on the targeting.

A voting session is automatically created when a company-related “news” receives a lot of negative feedback, providing users a chance to be surveyed for a possible rollback of certain decisions made by officers and directors of eligible TripleOne companies.

Ranks

The ranking system was created to enhance stability in the user community and ultimately in the eligible TripleOne companies. The rank of a user is displayed publicly on their profile the user’s “credibility factor”. A higher rank does not necessarily mean that the user is more "credible", but it helps other users determine activity level.

A user's rank can be increased with Ranking Points. Users receive 1 Ranking Point for every TripleOne Point that they earn. The maximum rank is 100. Ranks can provide different benefits to users. These benefits include access to private products and services offers around the world, all sorts of discounts, hidden parts in our website and a lot more.

Badges

The badge system was created for users to publicly display their achievements. Similarly to ranks, badges can also provide benefits to users.

Badges can be earned by user accounts who "achieve things". For example, the "500 TripleOne Points" badge can be earned when a user gets 500 TripleOne Points before the end of the month. The "Project Starter Badge" is earned when a user receives at least 10 votes on its project suggestion. There are hundreds of badges to earn. Only 3 badges can be displayed on your profile. As you rank higher, more badges can be displayed on your profile.

Projects

The project suggestion system was created to allow users to give impulse and influence the future of the business.

Users can suggest new projects of any kind: local business, online business, investment opportunity, real estate, etc. Only a few restrictions are imposed on project portfolios. Restrictions are disclosed in the “Project Portfolio Builder” updated as needed.

When a project is completed, a new project suggestion session starts, and users can upload their project portfolio to present it to other users. Users can vote on these portfolios. The portfolio that receives the most votes "wins" and is now TripleOne’s decision whether to start on that project. Jobs may be created, and users can apply to work on that project. The decentralized jobs system is explained below.

Project Segments are credited to users who’ve had their projects portfolio selected by the community during a project investment session.

Jobs

The decentralized job system exists to let users suggest who is suitable for a particular job. Not only that, users can also suggest creating new jobs for a project.

Users can apply for a job recommendation anonymously without displaying their name, gender, picture or Country to make sure that suggestions made by other users are solely based on skills and nothing else (this may be adjusted as per individual project necessities). The user who gets the most "positive" votes is elected and is recommended for the job.

Elected users are recommended for interview to the company. If an elected user is refused, the refusal rate of that company increases. A refusal rate is publicly displayed next to each company’s profile. Companies with a high decentralized job refusal rate may be penalized for not respecting the decentralized concept.

Only eligible and verified users can apply for job recommendations.

Investments

The TripleOne investment survey system is divided into multiple parts. Investment sessions, stock portfolios, voting sessions, investment processing and sale declarations.Investment Survey Sessions:

An Investment survey session is started on the first day of each month. When an investment survey session starts, a percentage of TripleOne cash balance is set aside (in a TripleOne company account or other vehicle as then relevant, and subject to local regulation). The amount set aside may be used to purchase the stocks for the TripleOne company when a portfolio is recommended. Licensed users can upload their stock portfolio to the session allowing other users to vote for it. The portfolio with the most votes "wins". Finally, stocks that end up being purchased are purchased by the applicable TripleOne company, and for the company.

The duration of an investment survey session is seven days. One day is dedicated for uploading stock portfolios to the session. Three days are dedicated for voting on these portfolios. One day is dedicated for votes processing by our systems. Subject to company officers and directors’ decision, one day is dedicated to purchasing the stock (which may be delayed or suspended in the discretion of the TripleOne Company). Finally, the last day is dedicated to publicly discuss the "winning" stock (subject to local regulation).

Stock Portfolios:

Licensed users can create customized stock portfolios for investment survey sessions. Portfolios can be edited in simple or advanced mode. Advanced mode allows the user to use our proprietary programming language (MDK) to build a dynamic portfolio and extensively customize content for it.

Voting Sessions:

Licensed users can vote on other licensed user’s stock portfolios and discuss their opinion on the comments section of the portfolios (subject to local regulation). The portfolio that gets the most votes is sent for processing. Licensed users are only allowed to vote twice on a portfolio unless they use Special Votes. A limit of ten Special Votes can be used on a single portfolio.

Investment Processing:

During processing of an investment, the winning portfolio is selected, and shares are bought in the discretion of the TripleOne company. One day after an investment is processed, detailed information about the investment, including the amount of shares the company owns, is publicly disclosed in the Assets page located on our website.

Sale Declarations Surveys:

A sale declaration survey is made when a licensed user feels like it is time for the company to cash out a certain amount or all the shares for a stock. It can happen for different reasons, such as if the licensed user feels like the stock did well, or simply because the stock is underperforming.

A licensed user can only declare one sale survey per year. When a sale survey is declared, the stock goes into a voting session where licensed users can vote whether it is the right thing to do, or not. If the voting session receives more than 65% of "positive" votes, the sale recommendation is processed, and shares may be sold at the discretion of the applicable company.

FDX (Coin)

FDX is credited to user accounts who have gained TripleOne Points.

1 TripleOne Point = 0.001 FDX.
A user can send FDX to other user accounts on our website. When FDX is sent, a communication message box is created to allow communication between the receiver and the sender. Visit fdx.com for more info.

FDX uses “blockchain” technology to allow full decentralization. Anyone can run an FDX node. FDX are credited to an account without the need of a centralized platform. TripleOne Points data are publicly accessible and FDX coins are minted based on that public data. More information can be found by visiting www.tripleone.com/fdx

Customer support

Part of TripleOne customer support system is decentralized. Its functions allow for 24/7 customer support and a 5 to 10 min response time for our customers.

When a selected email is sent to our company, or for any affiliated or participating companies, a user can "accept the task" to reply to that email. The response made by the user is sent to a voting session and must receive two positive votes to get approved for sending to the customer.

  • If it receives one negative vote, the email is discarded.
  • If it is reported, a TripleOne staff will investigate. If the report is valid, the user is banned from answering emails for an undetermined period.
  • If the response is approved, it is sent to the customer.

When the customer replies, it goes through the same process to allow for a very low response time, but this time, with the email history. If the email cannot be answered by users, for example, if it is related to a specific order, the user can select "Send to the TripleOne Support Team" so that the email gets sent to a TripleOne staff.

Verification

Users must verify their phone number to create an account on our website. A verified phone number allows users access to most of TripleOne’s website functions (subject to local regulation).

Verification codes are sent by SMS or Voice Calls. Failing to submit the correct code multiple times will result in a short-term suspension from creating new accounts.

If your phone number is already in use, you can use it to verify a new account. The account using your phone number will go in “inactive” state. “Inactive”, cancelled or closed accounts cannot receive points, Segments, FDX or be credited in any other way. Certain functions require an account to be verified with a government issued identification document.

Availability / Countries

TripleOne is accessible from many Countries. If you cannot access TripleOne and its services from your Country, feel free to send a message to feedback@tripleone.com explaining your interest in seeing TripleOne available for your Country.

Many parts and features on TripleOne are only available for certain countries, to allow for a stable growth throughout our companies. Soon, TripleOne will expand its availability so that anyone around the World can participate in the concept, subject to applicable law.
