Today’s guest has been at the heart of some of the most integral moments of Canadian politics in recent weeks — and has the metaphorical scars to prove it.
Green Party Leader Elizabeth May was the lone opposition MP who voted to support Mark Carney’s government in a recent budget vote.
She agreed to do so only after Carney had affirmed Canada’s commitment to meeting its Paris Agreement climate targets.
A little over a week later, Mark Carney signed a memorandum of understanding with Alberta that clawed back several Trudeau-era climate policies and paved a pathway for a potential pipeline.
This left May telling reporters that Carney “needs to consider what his word means when his word was given.”
All of this has left me dying to have a conversation with the green party leader — and luckily, she has obliged me.
I’m very excited to welcome Green Party Leader Elizabeth May on today’s show.

IMHO the Liberals made a deal with the Bloc in order garner their support of the Throne Speech hence no tally. Obviously they did the same with Dizzy Lizzy with the budget. The awful truth is all the political parties are terrified of another election. The NDP and the Bloc shouldn't be and Dizzy Lizzy could have been a hero but the neocons don't want a minority while the worldwide economy collapses

Yesterday
at OGGO Meeting No. 19 (Dec 2, 2025), Interim Parliamentary Budget
Officer Jason Jacques delivered the line of the year: when government
departments realize they’re supposed to hand over data to the PBO… “news
travels fast.” In plain English: the Liberal government is deliberately
stonewalling the independent budget watchdog. Jacques laid bare the
total lack of transparency on fiscal anchors, infrastructure billions,
and runaway spending — Canadians are being kept in the dark on purpose.
This is the eye-opening moment everyone needs to see.

Trust that Paul Hellyer had figured out that they all in it together and a hell book about it.
Before I came home to run in the 38th Parliament I offered to run for his party (CAP) and the new formed Green Party and was insulted by both. Hence I ran for public office 8 times since as an Independent
Goodbye Canada

How has the Ottawa-Alberta MOU signed last week affected the Liberal government's popularity? CPAC’s Michael Serapio looks at the latest numbers around the pipeline and climate issue with Éric Grenier, founder and writer of The Writ, and Philippe J. Fournier, founder and writer of 338Canada.

Polls suggest that a majority of Canadians (including British Columbians), support building a new pipeline from Alberta to the north coast of B.C. But after the resignation of Steven Guilbeault, a key minister for the Liberals in Quebec, and indications that the party’s electoral base in B.C. and elsewhere has mixed views about a new pipeline, could Mark Carney’s voter coalition be cracking — or could it grow instead?
This week on The Numbers, we dissect some new numbers on how Canadians view the possibility of a new pipeline and what they could mean for the fortunes of the Liberals. We also have some new polls concerning the federal scene and Quebec provincial politics to chat about
