I am emailing you, as you keep hanging up the telephone on me.

I request that you fill out a statement documenting the nature of the
emails that Mr. WINTERS sent to you and how those emails made you
feel. You can either write a statement (which you can obtain from your
local Police station and scan it and email it to me or you could write
a statement in email form. Your cooperation will be very much
appreciated and will help the Crown in obtaining a conviction against
WINTERS.

As stated in my conversation with you over the telephone, Barry
Winters was charged with conveying false messages to you. I have
imposed an undertaking condition that he have no contact, direct, or
indirect with you.

Should Mr. WINTERS contact you, please advise me and I will
investigate with a view to arrest him and charge him with breach of an
undertaking.

I also ask that you contact me directly instead of the City hall here
in Edmonton, as those messages are quite vulgar and upset the staff at
the City that have to read them. I assure you that all messages to me
will be investigated and if appropriate charges will be laid.  I ask
that you also avoid contacting Mr. WINTERS, as this may antagonize him
and make matters worse.

Notwithstanding David's bleating otherwise his "eleven million dollar
litigation" against "The Crown" exists only in his own demented mind.

I write a blog, a not very singular blog in the vast expanse of the
cyber-space universe. You have to seek out my humble blog, visit or
deign to go to my humble blog and of course read my humble blog before
YOU or anyone else can be "offended" by my humble blog. At this "point
in the proceedings I don't care if I offend YOU. I have every right to
offend YOU or anyone else under kanadian law.

Now our little "friend" David Amos is very much butt hurt as are the
crooked cops, city officials, faggot "activists" and Edmonton's
addicted and corrupt City Councilors. You know folks, who would do
anything anything to keep those paper bags of cash coming in under the
table, and charging everything on the "master-tin."

Yesterday was another beautiful day in Edmonton, the City on  the edge
of the Boreal Forest. At beautiful Kitchener Park in Oliver, Scotty
"the fix is in" McKeen's Ward, construction trucks of a developer that
paid off Edmonton City Council's most sartorially resplendent asshole
Scotty McKeen were still destroying the beautiful park and putting
kids at risk. But what the fuck, business is business, right?

David Amos is Butt Hurt Today! And Who Ever Listens to an Uppity Bimbo?

Hey Big Guy, speaking of dying, could you make a lot of folks happy
and speed up "the process" for David Amos and his "kiddies?" Cancer
for Amos, and stabbed by a nigger drug dealer in Boston seems about
right for the little "kiddies."

Also, Big Guy, the Jays are just wo and half games behind the Orioles
in the American League East, and they got a three game set against the
hated Orioles starting tonight...a Jays sweep of the Orioles would be
most appreciated!

Its another stunningly beautiful mid-April day in Edmonton at the edge
of the great boreal forest.

If any of the Edmonton City Police  or RCMP   victims  of little David
Amos are reading my little epistles, know that David Amos is very butt
hurt today. It seems scores of denizens of social media  scoffed at,
insulted, laughed at, humiliated, chastised, and just made fun of
little David Amos on twitter.

Who listens to a bimbo writer? Is a bimbo writing for a university
paper a writer, or just another loud mouthed bimbo? Why would any MAN
listen to a bimbo that "thinks" due process ought to be done away in
sexual assault cases? That we ought to "believe the survivors", in
bimbos we trust and we must believe these women!

Why would anyone take a woman trying to write anything at all
seriously? When a woman that really needs a blunt instrument starts

Feminist writer Laurie Penny once said a woman’s opinion was the
“short skirt” of the Internet. Having one and sharing it makes people
think you’re asking for verbal abuse.

After five years of sharing my opinions online, I’m acclimatized to
this. It’s sickening, but not unexpected.

And so I was unsurprised to read the deluge of abuse against student
journalist Kate McInnes.

McInnes, writing for The Gateway, the student newspaper at the
University of Alberta, criticized the 5 Days For the Homeless campaign
run by some U of A students, arguing their hearts were in the right
place, but the campaign made some students on campus uncomfortable.

The comments they made to show this ranged from the mean-spirited to
abuse, including one that said she would “sound better with a dick in
her mouth."

In an interview, McInnes said the same critique of the event was made
last year by a male Gateway writer. He received no backlash
whatsoever, "even though it was much more strongly-worded," she said.

But even with evidence to the contrary — according to UK think tank
Demos, female journalists are three times more likely to experience
abuse than male journalists — some people still say online vitriol
isn’t targeted at women.

“I’ve yet to hear a male journalist or male politician told he would
sound better with a dick in his mouth,” says Cristina Stasia, who acts
as a consultant on gender and equality in Edmonton.

Stasia, believes criticism is fair game but veers into harassment when
focused on the person and not what they say.

Looking through the list of comments McInnes posted on her Facebook
wall, they’re practically copy-paste versions of names I’ve been
called by angry men over the years.

Others feel the same way.

“This is about intimidation,” said Kathleen Smith, one of the most
vocal female voices online in Edmonton. “It’s about using sexual
violence to silence women. It’s misogynistic terrorism”.

These attacks for having public opinions discourage women from
leadership positions or public life. The sexual, gendered nature of
the attacks is a deliberate attempt to create fear and to silence.

McInnes is determined not to be silenced. She’s written more than 50
pieces for the Gateway and plans to be an editor next year.

“What I worry about is that other women will now be hesitant to raise
their voices because of the threats they might receive,” McInnes said.

For a long time, I had 'Lady writer' on my Twitter profile as a nod to
the men who stop by to denigrate me.

Often, they put writer in scare quotes — as if because they don’t
agree with what I’ve said I’m somehow not a writer at all.

Or perhaps they would prefer to think that not only am I not a writer,
I don’t exist.

There’s always going to be a small contingent of people determined to
lower the bar on decency. But if the vast majority of bystanders don’t
speak out and reach out then we’re doing nothing more than what
society has always done: Telling women to sit down and shut up.
