Another "Feminist Activist" Looking for a Meal Ticket
She seems to be a tight little unit, for a parasite.
Julie Lalonde is an Ottawa-based women's rights activist who has
experienced harassment as part of her job and personal life, online
and offline.
Kanada's and amerka's fastest growing "industry" is "advocacy and
activism." "people" like Julie Lalonde are parasites whose existence
is sustained by looking for a cause real or imagined that can provide
a government or NGO sinecure.
Its seems , Miss Lalonde alleges that SHE and of course other women
are victims of ...gender based violence. Julie Lalonde claims that she
is the victim of harassing, obscene, tweets, e mails telling her to
kill herself and posting her address. Julie saw manna from heaven in
those alleged nasty e mails. Julie immediately went to the Minister
for the Status of Women calling for a well financed government
programme all her own to stop this "all pervasive violence against
women."
Our little Julie Lalonde whines that these nasty e mails and tweets
are akin to violence against women. That this sort of e communication
to herself, it not clear if anyone else is a victim like Julie, is
akin to violence, gender based violence, and a well funded government
programme with her in charge is required to deal with it...and right
fucking now.
A thirty dollar injun princess hooker is more honest than Julie
LaLonde...at least you a get "fair return" for your dollar from a
clapped up Pocahontas hooker. Bimbos like Julie Lalonde take your
money and YOU don't get to cum or get any other recompense for your
money.
I get e mails from mental deficient vermins every night that claim
they are from "anonymous" and they're a"a gonna get me," commit
violence against wife, and daughter....all because they don't like my
blog. These retards claim because they have my e mail address, which
they don't. My IP address, the name of my employer, which they don't,
and they will someday "hack" my computer, which they can't.
All that begs the question" What the fuck are you whining about Missy?
Julie Lalonde reminds me of another parasite, and loser, David Raymond
Amos. Amos claims to all stupid enough to listen, he is suing The
Crown for eleven million dollars...because he does not like this
humble blog. And David Amos i due eleven million dollars in remedy and
relief because he claims he is the victim (everyone's an ersatz victim
these days) of "hate speech"
Little sensitive bimbo Julie Lalonde says all those nasty e mails she
gets are "gender violence" perpetrated against herself and all
women...and she needs a government programme to "rectify the
situation."
Oh dear, the more things change the more they stay the same.

Women’s rights advocate knows how online harassment, threats seep into real life
Julie Lalonde is hoping an announcement by Status of Women Minister
Patty Hajdu that Ottawa is developing a strategy to curb gender-based
violence means she and women like her will see an end to harassment
By Oliver SachgauStaff Reporter
Mon., July 18, 2016
It’s one of the central ironies of Julie Lalonde’s life — an advocate
for women’s rights working to end gender-based violence and
harassment, her work has caused her to experience much of the hate
she’s fighting to eradicate.
“Imagine every day you get up, and there’s someone who just yells
obscenities at you. You get in your car and you go to work, and while
you’re doing that they’re yelling obscenities at you . . . you sit in
your cubicle and they’re yelling at you and the same thing happens
when you walk home,” Lalonde said.
But instead of being delivered in person, the obscenities and
harassment she gets are mostly sent online — emails, tweets and
messages telling her to kill herself, and posting her address for
others to find her. Sometimes, the threats turn real as online
harassers show up at her events to threaten her to her face.
“It’s constant,” she said.
Lalonde is the developer and manager of Draw the Line, a campaign
focused on helping bystanders intervene when they see sexual violence.
She’s also known through her personal women’s rights advocacy on
social media.
Now, she’s hoping that an announcement by Status of Women Minister
Patty Hajdu that the federal government is developing a strategy to
curb gender-based violence means she and women like her will see an
end to harassment.
Lalonde has personal experience in the arena to understand what other
women experience online. For years she was the victim of a stalker,
she said.
Because of her outspoken feminist advocacy, she has multiple online
groups dedicated to harassing her, or impersonating her, she said.
One of the things that frustrates her the most is that people who
don’t understand how online harassment and threats bleed over to real
life. The threats she gets are online, but they’re sent by people who
know the times and locations she’s going to speak in public, she said.
At times, that means she fears for her safety.
“Last summer I couldn’t speak in public without (event organizers
guaranteeing) a police presence . . . because the threats were so
acute at the time,” she said.
The federal government is hoping to prevent this kind of harassment
happening in the future. At an event Monday, Hajdu said the government
was launching consultations to develop a strategy against gender-based
violence. The strategy will focus on youth and online gender-based
violence.
“Although we’ve made progress — and we should be very proud — all of
us here today know all too well that we still have a long way to go,
particularly when it comes to gender equality,” Hajdu said.
Hajdu also announced that funding would be restored to advocacy
projects applying under the Women’s Program at Status of Women Canada.
Advocacy projects saw their eligibility revoked in 2007, a move that
saw many women’s groups shut down over lack of funding. Lalonde also
felt the impact of those cuts, as she was laid off from her job in
2011 after the group she worked for couldn’t access funding they had
before the cuts.
The consultations will continue over the summer, and see results in
the form of campaigns or legislation starting late 2016 or early 2017,
Hajdu said.
Lalonde hopes one of the things that comes out of the consultations is
a public campaign teaching the public about the prevalence and danger
of online harassment. Beyond that, she wants to see more tools to
enable bystander intervention — where people support others who are
being harassed.
It’s the kind of thing that would take away the onus of dealing with
harassment from the victims of harassment to the general public. It’s
something Lalonde also wishes she had.
“Why does it have to be me? Why can’t I have someone supporting me,” she said.
