Methinks it was awful interesting that Vance did not mention that on January 11, 2016 I had encountered Justice Richard Southcott the former General Counsel of the Irving Shipbuilding Company whom Harper had appointed to the bench just before the writ was dropped. Trust that I contacted Admiral Norman's lawyers the instant I knew of his prosecution and everybody has played dumb ever since

Bet, you dont understand it? Dont they see how wonderful you are? You are so non-sexist, so non-homophobic, completely transparent, all inclusive and so on ... Basically, you are the coolest guy ever to be PM of Canada ,,,, so how can they not adore you?
Basically Justin, its because you have been the ultimate disappointment. You are arrogant, condescending, a big talker who has flopped on both the foreign and domestic stage. You have proven to be a walking disaster and about as transparent as a concrete wall.

Really, Helen, I can't understand why people would be disappointed in
Justin. When you start with a so-called leader who has NOTHING to offer,
why would anyone be disappointed when NOTHING is exactly what they get
from him.
Look at the facts. Justin was an inexperienced backbencher with no proven leadership abilities or leadership experience within that party, and he really had nothing to offer to Canadians but a famous name from a by-gone era when the Liberal Party made him out to be the great Messiah that would save Canada from the right-wing, Conservative, Harper government. He made 213 rash, but nice-sounding, election promises without ever once considering the possibility that would not be able to keep them, and very likely without the intention of keeping them.

Transformational Senate reform (independent for the first time in history), no constitutional crisis required; orderly marijuana legalization; transformational child benefit reforms, improving the lot of 90% of Canadian families and, along with other measures, pulling 900,000 Canadians out of poverty; record low unemployment and a million jobs created over his term; a stock market boom; serious climate action, internationally and back here, despite recent provincial elections; a progressive health accord; FNs reconciliation like never before, from treaties to clean water to more consultations; three trade deals, each more progressive because of Lib initiatives; help for vets (close to 20 campaign promises met), and for the elderly, students and other disadvantaged groups; reconnecting with the UN and other multilateral organizations, worldwide promotion of women and girls like never before; dropping or settling Harper's many wasteful court actions, saving hundreds of millions; new, merit based appointment processes for senators, judges and senior executives; canceling the use of tax money for partisan political purposes such as EAP ads....

And beyond informing Sajjan and Trudeau of the RCMP investigation, the defence chief said, "I have never, ever spoken to anybody political about this, beyond that, ever. Period.""
yet on the day of the police raid on normans house, a couple of hours before he suspended norman he called trudeau, and met separately with sajjan and GB and telford
but he took the decision independently of any political direction from any of these people
uh huh
because all it takes is a few hours to search thru documents to find evidence and proof to come to a conclusion that he was guilty and needed to be suspended even though now weve come to find out none of it was proof of a breach nor was any of it remotely a smoking gun.

Davie Shipyards been pitching a sister ship that they've placed a hold on another hull for conversion & despite cutting the price by $200 Million the Liberals have ignored the offer. It's to be noted the Asterix & Obelisk are very well set up for International Humanitarian & Disaster Relief Missions. The RCN's poorly set up to offer a Hospital/Supply ship for such missions as it is aside from the Asterix.

It's funny that the JT cheerleaders are lamenting the fact that the Conservatives did not intervene during the investigation by the RCMP. I agree there should be an enquiry. The public has a right to know why former Conservative cabinet members knew all along what Norman did was authorized and they said nothing for years.
If you know you have vital information you can't use the excuse you weren't asked. Law enforcement people don't know and can't guess at what someone said or did behind closed doors. Did the RCMP have any reason to believe these people had additional information? It was their duty to come forth with this, and not at the 11th hour.

"Vance insisted that the decision to suspend Norman was his alone and was made without political direction or interference.

Partisan spin aside as the article/column points out there's lots of blame to go around & it doesn't stop with Trudeau but it sure would have been nice if Trudeau at al hadn't kept doubling down just like they did with JWR.
What hasn't been mentioned anywhere is what happened to Project Resolve & all those people in Quebec that built the Asterix after the Liberals rejected the sister ship the Obelisk!

Oh So True Folks should ask why Harper kept his seat so long after the election of the 42nd Parliament Everybody knows I file my lawsuit in Federal Court while he was the Prime Minister Methinks he didn't quit his seat until he thought my Goose was cooked when the judges he had appointed denied my appeal and proceeded to overturn Southcott's decision which was in my favour N'esy Pas?

It's funny that the JT cheerleaders are lamenting the fact that the Conservatives did not intervene during the investigation by the RCMP. Why would a past government meddle in the affairs of the new incoming government? One wound assume that the RCMP were doing their jobs, unless of course they were pressured to act in a certain way. This while thing stinks and needs a public enquiry.

Scheer is trying to find a Liberal scandal when a Conservative scandal is staring him in the face.
