Judge rules arrest of Diagolon founder on COVID-19 protest charges not politically motivated
Jeremy MacKenzie, 38, Morgan Guptill, 33, accused of harassing N.S. chief medical officer of health in 2022
A Nova Scotia judge has ruled the 2022 arrest of the founder of an anti-government group who protested COVID-19 restrictions outside the home of the province's chief medical officer of health was not politically motivated.
Judge Jill Hartlen of the Nova Scotia provincial court made the decision last week in the case of prolific podcaster Jeremy MacKenzie, 38, and his partner, Morgan Guptill, 33, who are arguing harassment and mischief-related charges against them should be tossed due to alleged violations of their rights.
The hearing comes as the controversial group founded by MacKenzie, Diagolon, has been the source of heated exchanges in Ottawa, with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accusing Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre of courting followers during a visit last week to an anti-carbon tax convoy camp near the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border.
Trudeau has called Diagolon violent and "white nationalist," the RCMP have described it as a militia-like network that believes the collapse of Western governments should be hastened, and Poilievre in 2022 denounced the group as "dirtbags."
MacKenzie has denied the allegations of extremism and violence, and has maintained Diagolon is simply a loose-knit community of fans of his podcast.

MacKenzie and Guptill are charged with criminal harassment, mischief, making harassing phone calls and intimidation of a health professional in relation to a small, three-day protest in March 2022 outside the Fall River, N.S., house of Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang.
MacKenzie's lawyer, Sherif Foda, has claimed the decision to charge the pair was politically motivated, with interference from the office of Premier Tim Houston, and that police "bowed to political pressure," according to Hartlen's decision.
In particular, the defence focused on the role of Ian Burke, a security officer with the Nova Scotia government who called police over the protest outside Strang's home, and who the judge said "advocated strongly" for RCMP involvement and acted as a go-between with police and Strang.
No 'pull or influence'
But in her decision, Hartlen said there is no evidence the officer in charge of the investigation, Det. Const. Todd Streatch, was ordered to investigate in a certain fashion or give preferential treatment, or felt pressured to lay charges or arrest certain people.
There is also no evidence he spoke to Burke or the premier's office before he decided to lay charges, the judge said, and the evidence shows he did not arrest MacKenzie and Guptill to "improperly stifle political activity."
"The evidence demonstrates that Ian Burke did not have the pull or influence that the applicants wish to portray," Hartlen said.
Not only that, she said Streatch "consistently maintained" that Diagolon and his belief that MacKenzie, who is a Canadian Forces veteran, suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder were not factors in his decision to charge the pair.
There is also no evidence, the judge said, that Burke or the premier's office interfered in the Crown's decision on the release conditions for MacKenzie and Guptill when agreeing to their bail three days after their arrest.
'Not the crime of the century'
In Dartmouth provincial court this week, MacKenzie's lawyer urged the judge to stay proceedings, which would end the prosecution of the case, due to Charter breaches related to the detention of MacKenzie's phone, and alleged breaches related to his access to a lawyer after his arrest and the length of time it has taken for the case to come to trial.
The prosecution is opposed to the stay, and the judge has yet to rule on the application. MacKenzie and Guptill, who is representing herself, are scheduled to go on trial in June.
Foda said in court his client and Guptill "embrace" the chance to go to trial if they fail in their bid to have their cases stayed. He said no one was physical hurt during the protest.
"It's not the crime of the century," he said.
Nova Scotia had lifted many COVID-19 restrictions in the days before the protest outside Strang's home, but a number remained, including the requirement to wear face masks in schools.
Protest details
In her ruling last week, Hartlen said Strang and neighbours saw MacKenzie pacing back and forth in front of the house for hours, making aggressive comments and ranting. Protesters were using the zoom function on their phones to stream over the internet the inside of the house.
At one point, Strang's daughter had a panic attack, the judge said, and his wife had to escort care workers for their autistic son away from the home because they were too intimidated to leave on their own.
Guptill used a livestream on social media to urge people to call the Strang home, and the phone rang throughout the night, causing "distress" to the family, Hartlen said.
MacKenzie has faced charges, many of them firearms-related, in a number of provinces, but all except the current case have been withdrawn or resolved.
In March, firearms-related charges related to a January 2022 search of his parents' home in Pictou, N.S., were resolved, according to the Nova Scotia Public Prosecution Service.
A spokesperson said a peace bond in the case prohibits MacKenzie from possessing weapons for 24 months, and he was required to forfeit any weapons or ammunition.

Bureaucrats faring well at CBC, journalists not so much
The number of journalists and reporters employed by the CBC appears to be dwindling, while the Crown corporation’s level of bureaucrats is on the rise, according to newly obtained documents.
The number of journalists and reporters employed by the CBC appears to be dwindling, while the Crown corporation’s level of bureaucrats is on the rise, according to newly obtained documents.
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation first acquired the records through an access-to-information request, which found that the number of CBC staff with “journalist” or “reporter” in their job title has been declining in recent years.
“CBC defends its very existence based on its journalism, but its number of journalists are going down while its bureaucracy keeps getting bigger and taxpayer costs keeps going up,” said CTF federal director Franco Terrazzano on Friday.
“Why does the government keep giving CBC more taxpayer money if barely anyone is watching and its number of journalists keeps going down?”
The CBC employs nearly 100 fewer people working as either a journalist or reporter than it did less than five years ago.
According to the records, 745 staff of the CBC’s total 6,100 workers were employed under those titles in 2021, but only 649 are employed as of 2025.
That means only 11 per cent of the Crown corporation’s current staff hold these titles.
Additionally, indirect journalist roles, such as editors, producers and hosts have been in decline.
Meanwhile, the number of other bureaucrats it employs has grown, with 14 more management positions this year compared to 2021.
The CBC now has 949 people employed in bureaucratic roles, from “administrators” and “advisors” to “analysts” and “sales staff.”
However, it was management positions that saw the largest growth, driven by titles like “national director,” “project lead,” “senior manager,” and “supervisor.”
The hiring trends contradict the CBC’s narrative that its journalism has been under threat as a result of the new media landscape, previously calling for further funding to protect it against online competition.
Currently, the public broadcaster has more than 250 directors, 450 managers and 780 producers who are paid more than $100,000 per year.
While the CBC redacted the roles of over 200 people in a separate access-to-information records, it employed 130 advisers, 81 analysts, 120 hosts, 80 project leads, 30 lead architects, 25 supervisors, who were also paid more than $100,000 last year.
Media spokesperson Chuck Thompson told True North that the CBC has “a variety of roles that encompass journalists — including producers, announcers, video journalists, and writers that aren’t called journalists.”
According to Ottawa’s Main Estimates, the CBC is en route to surpass $1.4 billion in taxpayer funding this year, despite the CBC News Network only accounting for roughly 1.8 per cent of TV audience share.
Prime Minister Mark Carney vowed to increase its funding on the campaign trail, saying, “Our public broadcaster is underfunded.” Carney pledged an initial $150 million annually, while allowing room for additional financing in the future.
The CBC has spent roughly $5.4 billion in taxpayer money since 2020, over the same period that its journalists and reporters began to decline.
A portion of that money has been paid out in the form of executive bonuses, accounting for $18.4 million last year alone after announcing it would eliminate hundreds of jobs.
After polling highlighted that 69 per cent of Canadians opposed the CBC approving the 2024 bonuses, the broadcaster decided to end the practice.
However, the CBC followed up the fiscal policy with a decision to hand out $37.7 million in pay raises last fiscal year—over triple the $11.5 million from the year before—after scrapping performance bonuses amid political backlash.
The CTF said that while no bonuses were issued in 2024–25, the public broadcaster instead gave raises to 6,295 employees, averaging around $6,000 each. Not one employee received a pay cut.
“Taxpayers shouldn’t have to pay for an office full of middle managers pretending to be reporters,” said Terrazzano.
“The CBC’s own records prove it has fat to cut and if Carney is serious about saving money, he would force CBC to cut its bureaucratic bloat. Or better yet, Carney should defund the CBC.”

Federal public service pay explodes: Nearly 5,000 bureaucrats now earn over $200K
Even the $150,000-and-up cohort once reserved for top executives has ballooned to 20,200 employees.

According to figures tabled by the Treasury Board Secretariat in response to a question from MP Vincent Neil Ho, six federal public servants took home more than $500,000 in total compensation last year (salary plus bonuses, benefits, and overtime). While that’s down from the 17 who hit the same threshold in the two previous years, the rest of the pay ladder is skyrocketing.
Here’s the year-over-year reality check:
-
42 federal employees earned over $400,000 last year.
-
654 earned over $300,000, nearly double the year before (340).
-
1,399 earned more than $250,000, up from 887.
-
4,960 earned over $200,000, a jump of more than 1,300 from the previous year’s 3,609.
Even the $150,000-and-up cohort once reserved for top executives has ballooned to 20,200 employees.
These compensation totals include cash payouts such as bonuses, overtime, and retroactive payments from long-standing payroll issues. They exclude pension and benefit contributions, meaning the real taxpayer burden is even higher.
On the salary-rate side (excluding bonuses and extras), the number of federal workers making more than $150,000 has jumped from 4,191 in 2020-21 to 12,971 today. Those earning over $300,000 have more than doubled over the same period.
The data covers the core public service and most separate agencies, excluding the RCMP, Canadian Armed Forces, CSIS, and a handful of non-Phoenix reporting bodies.

Notes:
Note 1: The table presents the number of employees as of April in each fiscal year, based on their annual salary rates for that month. To ensure employees are not counted more than once, the following salary categories have been defined:
- Category (i): Annual salary between $150,000 and $199,999
- Category (ii): Annual salary between $200,000 and $249,999
- Category (iii): Annual salary between $250,000 and $299,999
- Category (iv): Annual salary between $300,000 and $399,999
- Category (v): Annual salary between $400,000 and $499,999
- Category (vi): Annual salary of $500,000 or more
Note 2: The counts include active employees across all employment tenures—indeterminate, term, casual, and student—as well as Governor in Council appointees and deputy ministers. However, judges are excluded, as they are part of the judiciary and not the executive branch of government. Additionally, members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canadian Forces (both regular and reserve) are excluded, as they are not considered part of the federal public service.
Note 3: The data covers employees within the federal public service, which includes departments under the Core Public Administration and Separate Agencies listed in Schedules I, IV, and V of the Financial Administration Act. The following Separate Agencies are excluded, as they do not submit data through the Phoenix pay system:
- Canadian Forces Non-Public Funds
- Canadian Security Intelligence Service
- Invest in Canada Hub
- National Capital Commission
- Northern Pipeline Agency
Note 4: Some outlier results may appear in the table, such as those resulting from the resolution of long-standing pay issues, which can lead to significant retroactive payments for certain employees within a given fiscal year.

New white nationalist group pops up in Dartmouth

Liberal MP calls out right-wing group for photo at Dartmouth cenotaph

Liberal MP Darren Fisher called out a staged photo op at the Dartmouth cenotaph by right-wing activist Jeremy MacKenzie as an insult to those who fought and sacrificed for Canada.
On Sunday, MacKenzie and over a dozen members of a group called Second Sons Canada posed in front of the cenotaph, the home of Dartmouth’s Remembrance Day celebrations, with a sign that read ‘Our People Our Home Our Future.’
In a Facebook post, Second Sons Canada calls itself ‘a brand new men’s national club’ for nationalists and disaffected conservatives.
MacKenzie is the founder of the far-right group Diagolon, a network with chapters throughout Canada. Diagolon was called a ‘violent extremist group’ by a House of Commons report.
Fisher, the MP for Dartmouth-Cole Harbour, wrote on Facebook that there is no room for hate in Canada.
“By now, you may have seen the photos or heard the news: a far-right hate group held a rally at the Dartmouth cenotaph at Sullivan’s Pond. The cenotaph is a sacred and solemn space – built to honour those who fought and sacrificed for freedom, not just for some, but for all.
“For a hate group to rally there is an insult to that sacrifice and an attack on the very values Canada stands for.
“Hate must have no place in Canada,” Fisher wrote. “Whether in Ottawa, where swastikas were flown alongside defaced Canadian flags, or at the (Nova Scotia-New Brunswick) border with far-right Diagolon supporters – every time politicians like (Pierre) Poilievre and the Conservatives lend support, they embolden them to go even further, spreading their hate and disinformation.
“Let’s be clear: this was not a peaceful protest. There is no peace in hate. There is no excuse, no justification, no room for neutrality. This was a white supremacist hate rally, and we must call it what it is.
“We must stand together – here in Dartmouth–Cole Harbour and across Canada – to reject this hate and defend the values that truly make us strong.”

Darren Fisher's Post

Lawyer for far-right activist responds to N.S. Liberal MP's statement
A lawyer for far-right activist Jeremy MacKenzie said his client was doing a photo shoot, not staging a rally at a Dartmouth cenotaph.
On Sunday, MacKenzie and a dozen masked members of a group called Second Sons Canada posed in front of the Sullivan’s Pond cenotaph with a sign that read ‘Our People Our Home Our Future.’
Liberal MP Darren Fisher called the gathering a hate rally in a Facebook post which was disputed by Fred Wu, a lawyer for MacKenzie.
Wu, in an email to The Chronicle Herald on Monday night, said MacKenzie, who is also the founder of the far-right movement Diagolon, and his associates were filming a video.
“This was not a rally,” said Wu, speaking on behalf of his client. “They set up numerous cameras and a drone visible in several photos. They arrived and departed inside of 45 minutes.”
In a Facebook post, Second Sons Canada calls itself, ‘a brand new men’s national club’ for nationalists and disaffected conservatives.

“We must stand together – here in Dartmouth–Cole Harbour and across Canada – to reject this hate and defend the values that truly make us strong.”
Wu rejected Fisher’s take on the group’s presence at the cenotaph, which is the home of Remembrance Day celebrations in Dartmouth.
“Mr. MacKenzie is a social media personality. While some may indeed find my client’s humour and other commentary distasteful, Mr. Fisher’s remarks are defamatory,” Wu wrote.
Wu said there was no basis to allege MacKenzie or Second Sons Canada are violent or hateful.
Many of MacKenzie’s associates wore masks in the video but Wu said that was to protect them from threats.
“Second Sons Canada is a men’s nationalist club, but not a hate group or a militia of any kind and there is no evidence anywhere to suggest that it is,” Wu said.
“Mr. MacKenzie is the only public-facing member as president. Associates are masked in fear of public threats against them.”

🍁 564 - ASSASSINATION OF CHARLIE KIRK
Charlie Kirk's death has revealed simmering divisions in MAGA world
Kirk's assassination prompted theories the shooter may have links to 'groypers'
In a recent social media post, MAGA podcaster Candace Owens railed against individuals who thought they could fill any leadership void that may have been created by the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
"You put a shill in Charlie Kirk's chair, in Charlie Kirk's company, and you try to tell us to follow that individual, I will be an enemy of you. There will be nothing that can stop me," said Owens, whose YouTube channel has about 4.5 million subscribers.
Although Owens didn't refer to anyone specific, some on social media have speculated she may have been referring to conservative commentator Ben Shapiro and/or hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman.
Owens, a conspiracy theorist who regularly engages in antisemitic diatribes against Jews and Israel — and has recently posited that the Israeli government may have been involved in Kirk's death — has taken issue with both Shapiro and Ackman, who are both Trump supporters and staunch defenders of Israel.
But her own relationship with Kirk has recently come into question, with reports emerging that Kirk had distanced himself from the popular conservative influencer over her increasingly extremist views and theories.
What all this signifies is that Kirk's death reveal cracks developing within the Make America Great Again movement. It also raises questions about how much the influence of more far-right fringe elements will grow — including those who were considered political enemies of Kirk, like white nationalist leader Nick Fuentes.

"Extremist movements, including the MAGA movement, have a tendency to grow more radical over time and as well, I think, to fracture," said Matthew Dallek, a professor of political management at George Washington University who studies the evolution of the modern conservative movement.
A tenuous coalition
Differences have recently emerged among some MAGA leaders, with figures like former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, one-time Trump aide Steve Bannon and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene critical of the Trump administration over its strong support for Israel in its war with Gaza, as well as its strikes against Iran.
Another significant point of contention within the movement is the refusal by the Trump administration to release more information about the case of Jeffrey Epstein, the wealthy financier who was facing charges of sex trafficking until he was found dead in his jail cell.
The Justice Department's insistence that there is no Epstein "client list" is a reversal of what Attorney General Pam Bondi had previously said, and has sparked anger among some of the MAGA faithful.

Donald Trump's most recent presidential victory showed that he had built arguably his biggest electoral coalition since entering politics, Dallek said.
He noted that in 2024, Trump won the popular vote, attracted more young people, more Latinos, more African Americans, along with most of the tech billionaires (also known as the "tech right") — meaning the MAGA coalition is at once larger and yet more unwieldy and fractured than ever.
Kirk's connection to Trump
The movement is a mix of factions and conservative commentators with huge followings. Dallek said Owens, Shapiro, Carlson and other figures on the American right are vying, through their platforms and followings, to define what it means to be MAGA.
Kirk's killing in Utah on Sept. 10 comes with the 79-year-old Trump in his second term and at a moment of flux for the MAGA movement, which is arguably at the apex of its power, Dallek said.
Dallek believes that in light of Kirk's death, his organization, Turning Point USA, could become an even more influential force for the MAGA movement. Kirk founded the organization as a grassroots movement to mobilize young, Christian conservatives. It became a multimillion-dollar operation under his leadership, and has chapters on college campuses all over the United States.
It was credited with helping return Trump to office. Since Kirk's killing, his podcast and social media accounts have attracted millions of new followers. There has been an outpouring of interest in expanding Turning Point's footprint on college and high school campuses, the group's spokesperson told The Associated Press, and future large-scale events are continuing as planned.
On Thursday, the group's board announced that Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, had been unanimously elected as its next leader and will serve as CEO and board chair.
All of this suggests that Kirk's death "is not going to destroy the organization by any stretch. And that it's probably likely to grow, at least in the short term, more visible, maybe more active and influential," Dallek said.
'Expand their influence'
Saif Shahin, an assistant professor of digital culture at Tilburg University in the Netherlands whose research has included the MAGA movement, said Kirk differed from many other MAGA podcasters and social media figures, as he was more of a power broker. Kirk had strong ties to the Trump administration, including friendships with Vice-President J.D. Vance and Donald Trump Jr.
"I don't think there is a [power] vacuum as such," Shahin said. "But yes, his killing has, I would say, created an opportunity for some of these other figures to maybe expand their influence."
Shahin said many of these figures are trying to co-opt Kirk's legacy, with most posting on social media about how close a friend he was.
All except Fuentes, an adversary of Kirk, who Dallek said may see this time as an opportunity to bring his white nationalist vision into the MAGA mainstream, Dallek said.
"Fuentes has been on the cutting edge of the racist wing of the MAGA movement," he said.
For years, Fuentes and Kirk engaged in a political feud, with Fuentes considering Kirk too moderate. Many of Fuentes supporters, known as "groypers," would come out to Turning Point USA events to troll speakers.

That antagonism fuelled some theories following Kirk's killing that the suspected shooter, Tyler Robinson, was a groyper, a term used to describe Fuentes's white nationalist "soldiers." (So far, no evidence seems to connect Robinson with these individuals.)
Dallek acknowledged that Fuentes may be considered somewhat of an outlier within the MAGA movement. In a recent New York Times profile, Fuentes said he wouldn't vote for Trump again, as he was angered by the president's support for Israel, his refusal to release the Epstein files and for considering extending student visas to Chinese nationals.
The profile also noted his criticism of Vance ("a complete fabrication who was created in a lab by [tech billionaire] Peter Thiel") and his dismissal of Carlson as a rich elitist.
His main criticism of the leaders of the MAGA movement, like his criticism of Kirk, is that they're not sufficiently radical and dilute his view that the U.S. is a home for white people.
Dallek says it's unclear what the divisions within MAGA in the wake of Kirk's death mean for the movement's larger political aims.
"I don't know that the future of MAGA is a singular movement," Dallek said. "I think it encompasses many parts, which is both its greatest political strength, but also one of its great weaknesses."

Experts and officials sound alarm over rise of extremist groups after march through Niagara park
Members of the Second Sons take part in a march to Brock's Monument in Queenston Heights Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake Saturday August 30, 2025. (@SecondSonsCA /X)
A march in a Niagara park by a self-described “men’s nationalist club” over the Labour Day weekend is raising concerns about the growth of extremist groups in Canada.
The event appears to have taken place on Aug. 30. in Queenston Heights Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Images posted to social media that day show members of the Second Sons marching up to Brock’s Monument in the park as bystanders watch.
The participants are seen dressed in black shirts and white bandana-like face coverings, carrying flags and chanting. Some carry the red ensign flag – a symbol that has been used in white nationalist demonstrations in Canada over the past few years, according to experts – as they take part in the military-style demonstration.
A separate video posted by the group online in the days after shows an unmasked man making a speech to the participants at the monument, saluting Brock and praising him as a Canadian hero.
The person in the video appears to be the group’s president, Jeremy MacKenzie, based on comparison with some of his more recent video posts.
MacKenzie adds that today, he sees Canada as being “pillaged.”
In the speech, he angrily rails against politicians and bureaucrats “pandering” to outsider interests and says they “cannot even tell you what a Canadian is” as the edited video cuts to a slowed-down clip of three visible-minority men passing by. He also lashes out against the idea that anyone can become Canadian.
Niagara Regional Police said officers responded to a nuisance call at the monument at around 7 p.m. on Aug. 30 and determined that a group had left the scene before they arrived. However no crimes were reported and the identity of the group was not known, police said.
In a statement, Niagara Parks said neither they nor the Niagara Parks Police Service were aware of the event as they did not receive any complaints.
“The group did not have a permit or permission from Niagara Parks nor the Niagara Parks Police Service to gather in this way at Queenston Heights Park,” the statement read.
It added that Niagara Parks and Niagara Parks Police Service “do not condone the actions of the Second Sons, nor the beliefs that the group represents.”
‘Hate has no place in Niagara’
In a statement provided to CP24 Wednesday, Niagara-on-the-Lake Mayor Gary Zalepa said hate has “no place” in the town.
“On behalf of myself, my fellow Council Members, and the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, I want to make it clear that this group’s message is not supported or condoned, and this type of hate has no place in our Town,” Zalepa wrote. “The Town does not tolerate any form of racism, hate, or discrimination.”
In a post on X about the event several days later, area MPP Wayne Gates called it “horrifying.”
His office said he was not available for an interview, but referred to the rest of his post.
“Let’s be crystal clear - hate has no place in Niagara or anywhere in Canada. I completely condemn this ugly display of hatred in our community,” Gates wrote. “Niagara is for everyone.”
MP Tony Baldinelli, who represents the area federally, did not return a request for comment.
In the statement provided on Wednesday, Zalepa also sought to reassure concerned residents.
“To our residents, especially those who may feel targeted or hurt by this demonstration, know that you are respected and fundamental to the fabric of our community. This recent rally does not reflect our ethics or the inclusive, welcoming environment we are committed to fostering,” he wrote
“Council and Staff remain committed to safety, fairness, and respect for all residents, ensuring that our Town reflects a resilient, vibrant and welcoming community that residents expect and deserve.”
The Second Sons did not respond to a request for comment on the criticism via their website.
‘Concerning’: Groups on the rise
While officials condemned the demonstration, experts say such groups are gaining momentum in Canada and that the public should be paying attention.
“I think we do need to worry,” said Prof. Barbara Perry, director of the Centre on Hate, Bias and Extremism at Ontario Tech University.
“We are seeing a growth in obviously, numbers associated with that group, but I think we’re also seeing more visibility and vocal presence of these sorts of groups.”
Perry, an expert in extremist movements in Canada, said the messaging from some Canadian extremist groups has grown bolder recently.
She points out that when MacKenzie founded another group, Diagolon, his tone was more humorous and he maintained that he was joking in some of his commentary.
“This is much more in your face. His narratives here have a much more serious, much more aggressive tone. So I think that’s worrying as well,” Perry said.
In particular, the group has become clearer that the end goal is to “overturn the current order, the current government in particular,” she added. “So yeah, I think very, very worrying.”
According to the Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN), which tracks far-right and extremist groups in Canada, Diagolon is a loose network of people with neo-fascist, militant views. It emerged from a group of online streamers called “The Plaid Army,” which has been accused of spouting racist and antisemitic views, CAHN says. MacKenzie, a military veteran, has also been identified by CAHN as the leader of the group.
The U.S. State Department has referred to Diagolon as a far-right “extremist” group. The group was also identified in a June 2022 House of Commons report as an IMVE group – standing for Ideologically motivated violent extremism.
Growing appeal
While far right and white nationalist groups have grown bolder recently, Perry said they have gone through cycles over the past few years.
Around 2017-2019, their activity manifested as demonstrations around border crossings during a crisis around irregular border crossings.
“We saw a lot of activity, then it died down for a little bit, and then emerged again in the context of COVID and the convoys,” Perry recalled. “And you know, they sort of never went away; they just went a little quieter, if you will. And now this is the next, next sort of surge.”

Around 2015, she says, far right groups started using mixed martial arts and other physical activities to recruit young men.
More recently these activities have “morphed” into more formalized all-male “active clubs” that encourage their members to get fit so as to be prepared for battle.
“They’re hyper-masculine – toxically masculine, if you will – all-male clubs, and their intent is very similar,” Perry said. “I think they’re much more explicit about defining themselves as nationalists and preparing themselves for battle, keeping themselves pure and in good shape, so that they’re ready to rumble.”
There are efforts in particular, to recruit people with military and policing backgrounds because the groups want to foster militarism and discipline, according to Perry. However the Second Sons state on its website that active members of the police or military cannot join “as it would be detrimental to club cohesion and unity to invite potential agents of the state into our home.”
Education key
As for what’s fuelling the growing appeal of these groups, Perry points, in part, to the difficult economic circumstances many people are facing.
She points out that many Canadian industries that are currently being threatened – such as steel, aluminum and the auto sector – are male-dominated industries, a situation extremists can exploit.
Perry said extremist leaders are “very good at manipulating” the fears of men who “feel like they’ve lost the capacity take on that traditional role of provider and feel like they’ve lost their privilege.”
While there is no easy solution, she maintains that the problem should be treated as a public health issue at all levels of government, with a particular focus on education.
“The people who are losing their jobs because of the impact of tariffs are exactly those who will be vulnerable to this sort of messaging,” she says. “So how do we prepare them for that? How does the labour movement prepare their membership for this form of recruitment? How do they engage them in those conversations. It really has to happen at all levels, but I think awareness and education is really the first step.”
Spot chosen for symbolism
In terms of the group’s choice of Brock’s Monument for their demonstration, Perry said it was likely chosen for its military significance and association with early Canada.

The imposing 56-metre monument is one of the largest of its kind in Canada, according to the federal government, which owns the site. It was erected in 1853 on the site of a key battle in the War of 1812, during which Sir Isaac Brock was killed while leading the defeat of invading American forces.
“His efforts leading up to this battle led to his immediate immortalization as a founding hero of Upper Canada,” according to a recent government release announcing an impending $1.1 million facelift to repair the monument.
According to Friends of Fort George, which helps administer the site, the monument draws some 20,000 visitors each year.
The group pointed out that the monument has become a symbol of the sacrifices of all those who fought in the battle, including British redcoats, Canadian Militiamen, the Coloured Corps, and Haudenosaunee warriors under the command of John Norton and John Brant.
“Brock‘s Monument was paid for through public subscriptions, with the largest percentage of funding per capita coming from Indigenous nations that fought alongside Brock in the early part of the War of 1812,” Friends of Fort George said.
“Brock’s Monument is a deeply rooted national symbol that showcases one of Canada’s notable founding moments, and a Hero associated with that pivotal patriotic victory.”
Parks Canada was not able to provide a statement on the Second Sons’ use of the monument for their demonstration by publication.

Niagara rally by masked members of men's 'nationalist club' raises fears of growing extremism
Concerns raised that appeal to patriotism is used as a way to attract recruits
A Labour Day weekend rally in Ontario's Niagara Region by a self-described "Canadian men's nationalist" group is prompting concern about rising anti-immigrant sentiment and recruitment efforts of extremist groups.
Researchers who study extremism have compared Second Sons to white supremacist and neo-Nazi active clubs. Such clubs bring members together for fitness workouts, and some experts say it's related to training for what members believe to be an upcoming race war.
Second Sons leader Jeremy MacKenzie is also the founder of Diagolon, an "extremist militia-like organization," according to the RCMP.
On Aug. 31, Second Sons shared photos and videos on social media showing about 50 people marching, chanting and carrying flags through Queenston Heights Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont., during the day, before stopping and posing before the 56-metre-tall monument honouring Maj.-Gen. Sir Isaac Brock.
Most of the people in those images are wearing matching white masks and black T-shirts, bearing the words "All thy sons" and "He who guards." Videos show park-goers watching the groups from a distance.
"It is a kind of intimidation," said Saleh Waziruddin, a Niagara Region Anti-Racism Association (NRARA) executive member.
Waziruddin, who's South Asian, said he did not witness the rally but has heard from people concerned about the group and that others like it are gaining traction in the area.
"Part of their ideology is that people like me are not part of this family or that we're taking away the birthright of what they feel they're entitled to as white people."

On its website, Second Sons says it's a "Canadian men's nationalist club," established in 2024 and committed to defending a way of life it claims is under threat through political activism and fitness training.
"Our birthright has been stolen from us as we are being pushed out of society, academics and the workforce, and replaced by foreigners without any roots or connections to the Canadian people," the group says.
Group didn't have permit, Niagara Parks says
Waziruddin said the public rally and march on the long weekend was the first he's heard of in the region.
But the group's activities in southern Ontario have recently been traced, including by CBC News.
A CBC visual investigation recently found Second Sons and active club Nationalist-13 to be training in martial arts studios, gyms and parks in the Hamilton and Niagara area.
"Canadian nationalism is not just 'back', it's unshakeably inevitable," the Second Sons said on social media after the Labour Day weekend. "The spirit of rugged defiance is as Canadian as the Newfoundland Cod, the stone cobbled streets of old Quebec or the oil patch of the west. Or Major-General Isaac Brock."
Brock — the namesake of the university in nearby St. Catharines — was an Upper Canada commander and administrator who died charging into battle against Americans in Queenston Heights during the War of 1812.
According to Niagara Parks, which manages the park and monument, Second Sons did not have a permit or permission to gather Aug. 31. Permits are issued for special events and big groups, it says on its website.
"Upon review, our understanding is that the rally remained peaceful, and no incidents were reported," spokesperson Katy Wassenaar said in an email.
"We did not receive any complaints from the public. With that said, Niagara Parks and the Niagara Parks Police Service do not condone the actions of the Second Sons, nor the beliefs that the group represents."
She added that the Niagara Parks Police Service works with Niagara Regional Police Service to track and monitor protests to ensure they're peaceful and lawful.
In an email, Niagara-on-the-Lake spokesperson Marah Minor said, "The town does not tolerate any form of racism, hate or discrimination."
CBC Hamilton reached out to Second Sons for comment but did not receive a response.
Group shared image of 'active club' meetup in Caledonia
Waziruddin said it appears Second Sons is trying to be more visible and recruit new members. The day after the rally, the group posted it had received an "avalanche" of applications.
It's "worrying that there could be more and more people," Waziruddin said.
According to Waziruddin, Second Sons is not just a social activity group, but also part of a political movement.
With their white masks and matching outfits, the Second Sons members in Niagara-on-the-Lake dressed similarly to members of American white nationalist organization Patriot Front, which promotes the creation of a white-only state in the U.S., according to the Program on Extremism at The George Washington University. A member of the group also mentioned the Patriot Front in a livestream following the rally.
Second Sons also uses the Red Ensign flag — popular with white supremacists — and on Sept. 2, MacKenzie, the group's founder, shared a video on the Telegram platform in which he makes a Nazi salute and grins for the camera while driving and playing music. "Joan Jett came on, and the mood came over me. What can I say?" he wrote in the post.
CBC Hamilton asked MacKenzie for comment on that via the Second Sons website, but did not receive a response before publication.
A video of the Brock rally that Second Sons shared Saturday shows MacKenzie unmasked and speaking to members. In MacKenzie's speech, he lionizes Brock and laments that Canada is being "pillaged, raped and burned." At one point, the video pans to a group of men, all of whom appear to be brown, walking in the park as MacKenzie accuses politicians of not knowing what a Canadian really is.
Jeremy

Telegram Sept. 2. MacKenzie is the founder of Diagolon and leads Second
Sons. (Jeremy MacKenzie/Telegram)
In addition to the Queenston Heights videos, Second Sons shared an image of MacKenzie and a group of masked members standing together behind some sort of fighting ring.
CBC's visual investigations unit identified the setting of the photo as the Caledonia Lions Community Centre in Caledonia, Ont. CBC Hamilton reached out to the Lions Club, which said it was not aware the group that rented the hall last weekend was affiliated with Second Sons.
"Had the true nature or group association been disclosed, the rental would not have been approved. We are disappointed the purpose of the booking was misrepresented and want to make it clear that we do not support or condone the promotion of extremist views," the Caledonia Lions Club said in an email.
Second Sons' website says the fitness focus is to ensure members are the best possible versions of themselves, and that hiding members' identities is to preserve privacy and protect members from retribution by "state officials or their attack dogs."
Professor worries hate becoming mainstream
Waziruddin said anti-immigrant sentiments are often fuelled by false information and can lead to real, negative impacts for many people.
He said the idea that immigrants, temporary foreign workers and students are taking jobs from Canadians seems to have entered mainstream thinking and contributed to policy changes, such as limits on international students at Ontario post-secondary schools and proposed changes to Canada's temporary foreign workers program.
Ameil Joseph, an associate professor in the faculty of social sciences at McMaster University, said policy changes like that can have negative repercussions on the people involved and contribute to further anti-immigrant sentiment, especially when those narratives go unchallenged.
Canadians can watch MacKenzie's videos and see him criticizing immigration in a way that may sound similar to some politicians debating policy, Joseph said.
"And then [people] see a TikTok video with someone complaining about somebody who's South Asian working at Tim Hortons," Joseph said in an interview. "All of it bleeds together without the backdrop of everybody telling the ongoing story of these white nationalist groups who have been trying to organize for generations."
CBC's
visual investigations unit identified this image Second Sons shared as
being in a community centre in Caledonia, Ont. The group posted it
alongside an image of their rally in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont., on Aug.
31. (Second Sons Canada/X)
Upon seeing images of the rally, Joseph said he thought about how much has changed since the public uproar when white supremacists marched on Charlottesville, Va. Comparatively, he said, the Niagara-on-the-Lake rally seems to have left people unfazed, perhaps because they're used to seeing such groups out in the open.
Second Sons' choice of a backdrop for their rally in Niagara was designed to invoke the idea of Canadians banding together against "invaders," Joseph said, and to appeal to patriotism as a way to attract recruits.
"It feels like they're succeeding," he said. "It's absolutely terrifying."
In the Hamilton area, Joseph said, community groups have banded together to counter-protest far-right groups and co-ordinate responses to their actions. He said he'd like to see more of that, coupled with more investment from local governments to aid in those efforts.

Today, we announce that our partner and good friend, Jean Charest, is
retiring from the partnership at McCarthy Tétrault, as of Friday,
January 19, 2024.
Jean joined McCarthy Tétrault in 2013 after an illustrious career in
public service spanning almost 30 years. As a partner of our firm and
a mentor to many, he acted as a strategic advisor to our practice and
our clients, leveraging his unique understanding of politics and
international affairs.
Jean expressed the desire to continue the practice of law as a
partner, past our mandatory retirement age, which is not possible in
McCarthy Tétrault’s structure. We respect his decision to pursue
another chapter in his professional life, and we are grateful for his
numerous contributions.
We wish him all the best in this next chapter of his distinguished career.

The dark horses in the suddenly crowded Conservative leadership race
https://www.cbc.ca/news/politi
Big crowds turning out for Poilievre suggest a very different kind of
Conservative leadership race
Crowds can motivate but votes are what win leadership races, say analysts
Catherine Cullen · CBC News · Posted: Apr 12, 2022 4:00 AM ET
Federal Conservative leadership candidate Pierre Poilievre arrives at
an anti-carbon tax rally in Ottawa on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
(Patrick Doyle/The Canadian Press)
In the last two Conservative leadership races, the supposed
front-runners stumbled before reaching the finish line. This time,
however, the front-runner is only showing signs of gaining ground.
Swelling crowd counts and MP endorsements aren't ironclad guarantees
of success, but they certainly don't hurt. And Pierre Poilievre — with
his populist appeals to frustration with government "gatekeepers" and
calls to make Canada "the freest country on earth" — is doing well on
both those measures.
Poilievre has tweeted photos of rallies in British Columbia and
Ontario attended by hundreds of people. His visits to Calgary on
Tuesday and Edmonton on Thursday are expected to draw more big crowds.
"They're unprecedented in a leadership [race]," said Melanie Paradis,
a veteran of the two previous Conservative leadership races who served
as former leader Erin O'Toole's deputy campaign director.
"He has a compelling narrative. It's important to credit that."
The theme of Poilievre's campaign is freedom. His rallies target
government policies that he argues restrict those freedoms —
everything from vaccine mandates to carbon taxes to government policy
on inflation. Poilievre promises that if he becomes prime minister,
he'll put a stop to all of it.
His supporters praise Poilievre for being an unapologetic
conservative. Many like his willingness to bluntly criticize and even
mock the Liberals.
Detractors worry he'll deepen divisions within the party and the
country. Some have gone as far as to warn of the "Trumpification" of
the Conservative Party if Poilievre wins.
Recent Conservative leadership contests haven't been kind to perceived
front-runners. Maxime Bernier was expected to win the leadership in
2017, only to be knocked down by Andrew Scheer.
In 2020, Peter MacKay was widely viewed as the front-runner because
he'd held a series of high-profile cabinet posts and helped to found
the modern Conservative Party. He lost to O'Toole on the third ballot.
Poilievre benefits from some key differences between this race and the
last two, said Paradis.

elected the new leader of the federal Conservative Party in May 2017.
(Frank Gunn/Canadian Press)
In 2017, Paradis said, the party was out of practice when it came to
running leadership races. It allowed the race to drag on for more than
a year, she said, which robbed it of a sense of urgency. It also had a
field of more than a dozen candidates, which divided the attention and
resources of party activists.
In the last race, leadership contenders had to grapple with pandemic
limits on the size of gatherings, which undermined outreach efforts.
Now, Paradis said, many Canadians are excited to spend time with
others.
Poilievre also has the advantage in caucus endorsements. More than 50
MPs are publicly backing him, compared to just 11 MP endorsements for
candidate and former Quebec premier Jean Charest and six for MP Leslyn
Lewis, who's running for the leadership for a second time.

Party headquarters in Montreal early on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015 after

Former Conservative senior staffer Garry Keller said he sees a
parallel between Poilievre's campaign performance and that of his
chief political foe, Justin Trudeau. The massive crowds the rookie
Liberal leader drew at events up and down the 401 highway in Ontario
during the 2015 election campaign offered the first hint of the
Liberal Party of Canada's comeback victory over Stephen Harper's
Conservatives that year.
"[Trudeau] was getting mega-crowds for Canadian politics with a
moment's notice. You can't fake that. I'm seeing a lot of similarities
with Pierre's campaign," said Keller, a vice president at StrategyCorp
and ex-chief of staff to John Baird, a former Harper cabinet minister
and an adviser on Poilievre's campaign.
The idea of similarities between Trudeau and Poilievre may seem
strange to some, but both have managed to get people talking and draw
in supporters who are new to party politics, said Keller.
Turning turnout into votes
He said Liberals should remember the Conservatives who laughed off
Trudeau in 2015 and take Poilievre's potential as a candidate
seriously.
One of the deciding factors in the Conservative leadership race may be
whether Poilievre and his team can translate rally turnout into voter
turnout.
Big rally crowds can project momentum and provide "an intimidation
factor" for opponents, said Éric Grenier, founder of the elections
analysis site TheWrit.ca — but they're not an end unto themselves.
"The most important thing is to make sure those people actually sign
up to become members," he said.

Poilievre, poll suggests
"If you're being very successful, signing people up over the Internet,
over social media, then the fact that you don't have these big crowds
might not be that important."
Candidates have until June 3 to sign up new members.
Getting supporters to take out party memberships is one thing. Getting
them to actually vote is another.
Paradis — who is remaining neutral in the leadership contest — pointed
out that in recent Conservative leadership races, only about 60 per
cent of the party's eligible voters actually wound up casting ballots.

children Theodore (right) and Savannah as he announces his candidacy
for the federal Conservative leadership at a rally in Brampton, Ont.,

While no one else in the race has yet shown Poilievre's ability to
draw crowds, there are other ways to manage a run for the leadership.
Former MP and Ontario Progressive Conservative leader Patrick Brown is
known for his political determination. Paradis said that while Brown
has kept relatively quiet on social media lately, he's been working
the phones daily from early morning to past midnight, reaching out to
potential supporters, while attending numerous events during the day.
"Nobody really talks about what Patrick is up to and I think he's fine
with that," she said.
Lewis has tweeted photos of herself addressing sizeable crowds while
touring the Prairie provinces. She also showed strength by being the
first candidate to officially get on the Conservative ballot by
submitting the necessary $300,000 in fundraising and signatures from
supporters.
Lewis and her team can be expected to make use of lessons learned
during her previous leadership run, said Keller.
Charest takes on Poilievre through the media
The candidate who has made the most pointed comments about Poilievre
to date is Charest, who hasn't seen many large crowds during the race.
Instead, he's been taking the fight to Poilievre through the media.
Over the weekend, Charest told several interviewers that Poilievre's
support for the self-styled "Freedom Convoy" — which occupied parts of
downtown Ottawa in February to demand an end to all pandemic
restrictions — should disqualify Poilievre from being prime minister
"The choice is this — either we do American-style politics, the
politics of attack and of division, or we do politics the way we do it
in Canada," Charest said in French while appearing on Radio-Canada's
Tout le Monde en Parle.
"Mr. Poilievre, who is by the way a legislator ... supported a
blockade that had very direct consequences on the Canadian economy and
which was illegal. Laws are not like a buffet where we choose what we
like and what we don't."
Police enforce an injunction against protesters taking part in the
convoy occupation of downtown Ottawa on Feb. 19, 2022. (Evan
Mitsui/CBC)
Charest supporter and long-time Conservative MP Ed Fast was asked by
reporters last week about the crowds coming out to hear Poilievre
speak.
"I don't think we need to stir up anger in Canada. I don't think we
should be tapping into that. I think what we need right now is
somebody who can heal the nation," said Fast.
Keller rejects the suggestion that Poilievre is divisive. While the
Ottawa MP has made some pointed attacks against his rivals in the
race, Keller said he sees that as the candidate standing up for his
conservative principles.
"[Poilievre] is trying to make headlines and he is trying to very
clearly stake out some ground here about who he is," he said.
With months left to go before the September vote, Paradis cautioned
against drawing any early conclusions about momentum. So much of what
matters in campaigns, from raising money to assembling supporters,
happens away from the public eye, she said.
"No one really sees what's really going on in these races. And it's
why people are surprised every time."

Joseph BourgaultJoseph Bourgault, president and CEO of St. Brieux’s
Bourgault Tillage Tools, is running for leader of the Conservative
Party of Canada.
ST. BRIEUX — Joseph Bourgault, president and CEO of St. Brieux’s
Bourgault Tillage Tools, and advocate against COVID-19 regulations,
has announced his bid for leader of the Conservative Party of Canada.
Son of Frank Bourgault, the inventor of the Bourgault Cultivator in
1973, the Bourgault family represents companies including Bourgault
Industries, Bourgault Tillage Tools, Dry Air, Highline and Freeform.
Bourgault describes himself as an “honest, truth seeking, principled
fiscal and social Conservative.”
“To me it’s always ‘what’s the truth?’” he said. “I do my homework to
discern the truth and then I’m principled as whatever the truth is,
that’s what I’ll act on.”
COVID-19 regulations, Lifewise Health Centre and the Freedom Convoy
In 2020, Bourgault co-founded a non-profit organization called
Canadians for Truth, Freedom, and Justice which opposed federal and
provincial COVID-19 mandates.
In pamphlets distributed throughout Humboldt and area, Canadians for
Truth, Freedom, and Justice said variants of COVID-19 are from leaky
experimental gene therapy to treat the virus, instead promoting buying
anti-viral substitutes from Lifewise Health Centre, a health food
store Bourgault founded.
In 2022, he took part in the Freedom Convoy to Ottawa to protest
COVID-19 mandates, which resulted in the federal government declaring
a nine-day state of emergency as the government worked to unobstruct
border crossings and ensure commerce across the U.S.-Canada border.
Bourgault said one of his first policies is to completely remove all
COVID-19 mandates, which he referred to as a “medical experiment.”
“Mandates are really another word for making forced medical decisions,
mandates are extortion. When you fire people because they refused to
participate in a medical experiment, that’s extortion,” he said.
“I have never seen a politician trample on the Charter of Rights and
Freedoms like this Prime Minister has. I was in Ottawa during the
Freedom Convoy and I was there the whole time and what he said when
declared martial law, basically declared war on these people was just
outrageous.”
Instead of current Health Canada recommendations, Bourgault promotes
the use of Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, Vitamin D, and Zinc for
treating COVID-19.
“To me there are natural solutions both herbal remedies and
nutritional supplements that can help and treat COVID. I know because
I helped 29 people to recover [and] have speedy recoveries with these
supplements.”
Policies
Fiscally, Bourgault seeks a balanced budget. Some of his initiatives
include eliminating the carbon tax and providing private sector tax
incentives for projects that will reduce or eliminate pollution of
air, water and soil.
He also seeks to reduce personal and business income taxes, which he
said will create investment in the economy while keeping citizens
healthy, happy and prosperous. Individually, he aims to adjust the
tax system for individual Canadians to not tax anyone below $50,000,
as well as lowering taxes for the middle class worker.
“I would never have locked the economy down and send CERB cheques out
to everybody. We want everybody to be working, so to me locking the
economy down, having these lockdowns make no sense, and the reason
they had the lockdown was because they did not allow doctors to
prescribe the therapeutics that were available to prevent and treat.”
Bourgault said he wants to create “a true healthcare culture,”
creating a distinction between healthcare and medical care.
Healthcare would be defined as the means to keep “citizens out of the
medical care system by empowering them to make healthy diet and
lifestyle choices.”
To this result, he said he intends to increase the standard deduction
of federal income tax to the poverty line, in order to proactively
reduce addiction and abuse.
“I want us to increase the basic deduction both provincially and
federally to the true poverty line so that all Canadians can afford a
healthy diet and lifestyle to be healthy, happy and productive to stay
out of the medical care system. What that will do is it will reduce
medical costs and put the horse in front of the cart. That’s one way I
see reducing the cost of government.”
For immigration, Bourgault said his goal is to attract future citizens
who align with “Canadian core values and principles” by tightening
immigration restrictions. He said those values include recognizing
freedom and democracy, recognizing gender equality between men and
women, willingness to learn both English and French if necessary,
tolerance, and respect.
Bourgault states he is pro-life, but wants to lower abortion numbers
through fiscal policies to allow for more Canadians to be able to
afford to raise a child.
“I would allow married partners or partnered couples to split income
up to $100,000 and I’d want a $20,000 basic child tax deduction so
that parents could afford to have children and could afford to raise
healthy, happy children that are engaged in sports and art,” he said.
“It costs money to raise a child.”
To support his run for leadership, Bourgault encourages people visit
his website josephbourgault.ca, join the Conservative Party of Canada
as a member, and include their name on his nomination petition.
Individuals are required to be members for at least 21 days before
nominating.
Bourgault is required to obtain 500 signatures to be able to qualify
for the candidacy.
“The other thing is I would appreciate what people can afford to give,
my fee to enter the race is $300,000 and I have to raise that by April
25.”

The dark horses in the suddenly crowded Conservative leadership race
🍁 RAGECAST 583 - 8pm EST
🍁 582 - MEET "CANADA", THE DEATH CARNIVAL!
With every passing day, the reality that we are right becomes more and more inescapable in the hearts of everyone struggling to survive in this evil country.
There is no plan B.
🍁 584 - RISK-ON
🍁 583 - RESIST OR DON'T EXIST
🍁 582 - MEET "CANADA", THE DEATH CARNIVAL!
We could have done it the easy way, but even that was too difficult and "extreme" for the feckless wieners larping as men in this country.
With every passing day, the reality that we are right becomes more and more inescapable in the hearts of everyone struggling to survive in this evil country.
There is no plan B.
🍁 581 - "YOU'RE A VERY WEIRD GUY"
🍁580 - CHOCOLATE MILK
Children are targeted for "assisted suicide", our youth have no future and Ottawa is funding media depicting the murder of it's heroes by indian terrorists.
Hell can be a lot of things, but being forced to watch your worst fears come to life year after year is it's own special VIP section.
579 - THE TRUTH (REMEMBRANCE DAY)
🍁 577 - CBC VS EVERYONE
Meanwhile, Doug Fords fat idiot mouth derails trade negotiations as the damage this swine continues to cause never ceases to amaze. Ontario, like the rest of Canada has been burning under the morally bankrupt political class but they falsely believe that the public will tolerate them indefinitely.
Canadians were known for their polite, friendly and generous spirit for over 150 years. The next stretch of our history will have us known for an altogether different attitude.
🍁 576 - EXPECT IT
China's leadership in chaos, political violence in America is escalating, Trump doubles down on war with Russia (maybe Venezuela and Iran, too) and most Canadian men are on high emotions watching multi millionaires play baseball.
I really hate this place sometimes.
🍁 575 - WE EXIST
I didn't bother to make any notes and why would I ? Everything I do is on the unceded territory of the ungloobedyglook-aleedoo and will be handed over at gunpoint just like British Columbia anyway.
🍁 574 - ENEMY
Remember how much more chill everything was in the one monitor days?
Oh well, ten million more indians should help.
🍁 573 - WHO IS RESPONSIBLE ?
We are in for an apocalyptic decade where the nation state of Canada will certainly cease to exist.
The Canadian nation must endure.
🍁 572 - THE "BEING ALIVE" RULE
Meanwhile Antifa is upgraded to an international terror org by the White House while Trump considers using the Insurrection Act. If that's not enough there's always the lunacy inspired game of chicken they seem to be playing with Russia and Iran.
While never releasing the Epstein files, because who would want that ?
🍁 571 - SHEEP IN WOLF'S CLOTHING
The greatest struggle in history is unfolding right here, right now - and most men are content to live as children in a perpetual fantasy world fighting pretend wars as imaginary heroes rather than step outside and be one in their own life.
🍁570 - NO! THEY BOOTY CALLED ME!
The lethal tag team of immigration and chemical warfare via fentanyl is ripping the guts out of every town and city in the nation.
Those responsible at the front of the room can only lean into their narcissistic superiority complex and unearned ego, ignoring the people's desperation. The guys in black at the back of the room, have a different idea altogether.
FENTANYL APOCALYPSE - New Glasgow, NS Town Hall Recap
1 October 2025
From Facebook Live
https://www.facebook.com/Mack674
Myself, Ferry and some members attended a town hall where I grew up that was addressing the "homelessness and addiction" problem, which is really just a nice way to avoid saying that like the rest of Canada - the entire county is being killed by fentanyl.
It was about what you would expect, but the local police Chief actually has my full endorsement to go Judge Dredd and just hijack the town.
It's that bad, honestly.
Sad days, Canada. Our home towns are dying in front of us in real time and people are still looking for easy answers.
THE TRUTH ABOUT GUNS:
Cape Breton and Canada
🍁 569 - BUT, OSTRICHES!
🍁 568 - YES, C*NTS!
Imagine what that would look like! It looks like us. Get in, get behind us or get out of the way.
🍁 563 - PHILIA
🍁 562 - TRUST
🍁 561 - LAST CALL
Your boys are back and the days of blackpilled victimhood are over.
The great Canadian comeback rally is officially on.
Get in losers, It's Isaac Brock O'Clock!
🍁 560 - PLAYOFF RUN... A DEEP ONE
Everyday, it got a little closer. Wheels have begun to turn and there's no going back now.
Your voices will not go unheard for much longer. The boys are coming.
Two minutes to midnight, Canada.
🏴RageCast 315: SAFE AND SECURE
They would know, and you can trust them.
🏴RageCast 314: SECRET SEXY SUPER SLASH SATURDAY
Just because I don't have to doesn't mean I shouldn't.
If you feel bad about yourself, remember: somewhere out there is a grown man who's dedicating his life to building tiny replica skateboard parks in his apartment. But even that guy is married, so... yeah, send another plague. There's still too many people.
🏴 RageCast 313: 2+2=5
This one issue alone is a whole chernobyl meltdown on its own, but in 2023 its just one small part of a sustained offensive campaign on base level reality itself.
They should just put 2+2=5 on every western nations flag and call it a day. It's the easiest way to describe what's going on here to aliens.
🏴 RageCast 312: REPRESENT
Millions want to hang on to the hope and prayer that somehow things will turn around and state power figures will suddenly embrace our values - the truth.
The sooner they realize this will never happen, the better.
YOU are your best representation, YOU are your best voice and to borrow a line from the magnificent Christine Anderson: "You do not define who I am. I define who I am."
How far we have to take this depends on how far into the deep waters of neo-liberal communism the fake opposition wants to drag us before we cut them loose.
If you want someone to fight for you, the good news is that person is very near. Perhaps the bad news is, they are in your nearest mirror!
🏴 RageCast 311: FAILED STATE
Criminally negligent and incompetent buffoons presiding over the worst mass casualty event in history, are giving lectures on mass cas events.
Unknown numbers of our federal, provincial and municipal officials are compromised by the Chinese Communist Party.
Our military has a catastrophic 18% attrition rate as it focuses on anti-white workshops, gender pronouns and critical race theory.
Health care is in free fall collapse, people with the means are seeking care in cartel run Mexico instead.
All cause mortality is up double digits across the board, the elephant continues it's rampage through the living room.
The opposition party's top concern is to not be called racist.
Canada is a failed state.
🏴 RageCast 309: BASIC DICTATORSHIP
Now yet another "tin foil hat story" has been thoroughly validated but don't expect much to happen.
To hold the government accountable for foreign meddling would mean consequences for Liberals, NDP, Conservatives and even the RCMP and Canadian Forces alike.
