Ooops! That is not part of the Conservatives' narrative for the election, Ms. Ambrose. Andrew also forgot there were quite a few Conservatives working with Canada's delegation to get a new NAFTA deal done, Ms. Ambrose being one of them.

Scheer cannot be trusted with the Climate or the Truth.

Good to know going into an election.

Good for Rona, I didn't think she would take a stand on this. I find myself pleasantly surprised by her integrity on this.

Yes, we should have given the Americans whatever they wanted to get a deal done. Isn't that what Mr. Harper said when discussions were going on? Just roll over for Trump?

The person who 'should' be leading the CPC . . . . . .

Instead, they opted for the '13th round' pick . . .

Reply to @Graham Greene: Wasn't that 13th out of 13th???? …. the thrill of winning

May I be the first to toss her name into the hat . . .

Rona Ambrose for CPC leadership in 2020!!

Reply to @Graham Greene: Methinks it would not be wise to bet the farm on Ambrose ever coming back to parliament N'esy Pas?

Scott McGregor
Reply to @David Amos: Why do people end posts with the misspelled "N'esy Pas"?

Doesn't get more surgical than that.

The past CPC leader, very highly respected within the party and an active participant in the NAFTA 2.0 negotiations....she comes right out and says Scheer is blowing smoke...his allegations are without merit.

It tells you EXACTLY the amount of credibility we should assign to the promises, accusations and policies of Andrew Scheer....ZERO.

Oooooo that must be so embarrassing Scheer. Imagine what an embarrassment he will be if he is elected.

This is just another issue that destroys Scheers credibility.

Hard to believe he wants to be PM when he cannot even be honest to a point where his own party believes him.

Ambrose should have been the real candidate.

"Ambrose was a member of a panel Prime Minister Justin Trudeau asked to provide advice and help create a united multi-party front during negotiations with the mercurial U.S. president" What do you think she would say?
Yes, Trudeau and I caved to Trump on NAFTA. But I agree with you on that she should have been the real candidate. Scheer is a dud.

It's about time Ambrose spoke up. Scheer has been making these comments for some time disrespecting the advice Ambrose provided on NAFTA. Good for her. The Conservatives have become too right wing for her balanced approach. Their loss

David Amos

Scheer will say anything to get elected - regardless of the facts.

Reminds me of the orange fella to the south actually.
